preach brother! Preach! The days of ordering everything online is kind of over with me because of a lot of reasons. I think that retail outlets are trying really hard to keep the few customers they have and this is a good thing. Especially in an expensive metro area the likes of what I live in the retail places probably have unbelievably high rent and other operating costs so yeah, the fact that they are only charging 10-20% higher than Amazon is pretty amazing and to me, completely worth it.

Yes I agree as there is actually so much more advantages to be had dealing with someone in person. Amazon is great for things that don't need information and they are not that cheap. I expect their prices will continue to rise due to their business model which is all about controlling the factories. They get this info from sellers selling on their platform and why they get pushed out. One has to be a manufacturer or tie up a sales agreement that cuts out Amazon if they try and take it away from you. We have done that and will continue to do this with any supplier that we sign up.
This means that you and many others have an agreement to not do business with Amazon? I'm a bit confused.
No it means Amazon cannot deal directly with your manufacturer because you are tied together.
