"Creativity in Industrial Design". [ENG-ESP]
Greetings to all technology loving members, welcome to my post once again, I am Nitsu and after several months I can finally write about the end of year 2022 delivery of industrial design. In this post I will share the works of classmates who are in different years of my career.
Saludos para todos los miembros amantes de la tecnología, bienvenidos a mi post una vez más, soy Nitsu y luego de varios meses por fin puedo escribir sobre la entrega de final de año 2022 de diseño industrial. En este post compartiré los trabajos de compañeros que se encuentran en diferentes años de mi carrera.
To begin with, the fourth year work consisted of focusing on a community of people and designing an object, system or experience that would improve some area such as health, education, quality of life, etc. Among the various ideas presented, the ones that came to fruition were the following:
Para comenzar, los trabajos de cuarto año consistían en enfocarnos en una comunidad de personas y diseñar un objeto, sistema o experiencia que mejorara algún área como la salud, educación, calidad de vida, etc. Entre las diversas ideas presentadas las que llegaron a buen puerto son las siguientes:
A system of games to place in squares designed to develop motor activities for children, this is a scale model that wants to show the basic idea, but there is a lot of background work where it is analyzed how children will use the games? With what objectives? What will be the way to produce these games? Both materiality and technological system of production.
Un sistema de juegos para colocar en plazas pensado para desarrollar actividades motrices para niños, esta es una maqueta a escala que quiere mostrar la idea base, pero hay mucho trabajo de fondo donde se analiza ¿Cómo los niños utilizaran los juegos? ¿Con que objetivos? ¿Cuál será la forma de producir estos juegos? Tanto materialidad como sistema tecnológico de producción.

Then there was also this small remote control car designed for a playful use where children would work and learn about robotics and basic programming, a kit to assemble in schools in an accompanied way. But one of the ones I liked the most, but I see that it would be difficult to implement in my country Argentina, would be the SUBTERRANEO DE HISTORIETAS, here the group wanted to generate a system where in each subway line there is a machine where you can take a comic (in this case focused on Argentine cartoons) where you can read during the trip and return it at another station, in this way could generate a certain degree of culturization and approach to the youngest to reading. The model they made was incredible and all the graphic presentation perfectly accompanied the theme.
Después también estaba este pequeño auto a control remoto pensado para un uso lúdico donde los niños trabajarían y aprenderían sobre robótica y programación básica, un kit para armar en los colegios de forma acompañada. Pero uno de los que más me gusto, pero veo que sería difícil de implementar en mi país Argentina, seria el SUBTERRANEO DE HISTORIETAS aquí el grupo quiso generar un sistema donde en cada línea de subte halla una maquina donde podés tomar una historieta (En este caso enfocado en caricaturas argentinas) donde pudieras leer durante el viaje y devolverla en otra estación, de esta forma podría generarse cierto grado de culturización y acercamiento a los más jóvenes a la lectura. La maqueta que realizaron fue increíble y toda la presentación grafica acompaño perfectamente la temática.

There are also other projects that I will mention, but I will not delve too much into them, mostly because I do not remember well the proposals. On the one hand, this model of safe bus stops for an urban community and on the other hand, this novel water transport system, the latter seemed great to me since the wheel also acted as a water container and the structure could be transformed into a kind of sled to transport this water through snow because it was designed for a community that lives in the south of Argentina and where it snows very often.
También hay otros proyectos que mencionare, pero no voy a ahondar mucho en ellos, más que nada porque no recuerdo bien las propuestas. Por un lado, esta maqueta de paradas para colectivos seguras para una comunidad urbana y por otro este novedoso sistema de transporte de agua, este ultimo me pareció genial ya que la rueda actuaba también como contenedor de agua y la estructura podía transformarse en una especie de trineo para transportar esta agua por nieve debido a que estaba pensado para una comunidad que vive al sur de la Argentina y donde nieva muy seguido.

The third year students, as a final project, had the task of designing an electric transport, skateboard style with a specific function. When I had to do this work because of the pandemic I did not do it physically, we only made the chassis and at the time it had already been very expensive, but with the presence could resume the fact of doing the project completely in physical which on the one hand is great because you get a great manual experience to assemble it in addition to communicate with different suppliers but on the other hand is a very costly job economically.
Los chicos de tercer año como proyecto final tenían la tarea de diseñar un transporte eléctrico, estilo monopatín con una función específica. Yo cuando tuve que hacer estos trabajos por motivos de la pandemia no lo realice físicamente, tan solo fabricamos el chasis y ya en su momento había sido muy costoso, pero con la presencialidad pudo retomarse el hecho de hacer el proyecto completamente en físico que por un lado es genial debido a que obtenes una gran experiencia manual al armarlo además de comunicarte con diferentes proveedores pero por otra parte es un trabajo muy costoso económicamente.

Como pueden ver en las imágenes hay modelos muy variados que van desde monopatines eléctricos pensados para el ámbito de la salud y una asistencia rápida frente a un posible embotellamiento de transito en la ciudad hasta uno enfocado para correo con el objetivo de repetir cartas o paquetes.
There are some that I still don't understand why they have a certain shape or form because certain materials were used, but we have to admit that they are all very original and most importantly functional. Once the delivery was finished both students and professors walked through the corridors of the faculty testing the prototypes, there were some that took good speed, others that were difficult to maneuver because of the weight or shape and some that were falling apart as they walked but everything was very happy and fun to watch.
Hay algunos que todavía no entiendo porque tienen determinada o forma porque se usaron ciertos materiales, pero tenemos que admitir que todos son muy originales y lo más importante funcionales. Una vez finalizada la entrega tanto alumnos como profesores paseaban por los pasillos de la facultad probando los prototipos, había algunos que tomaban buena velocidad, otros que era difícil maniobrar por el peso o la forma y algunos que se iban desarmando mientras andaban pero todo era muy alegre y divertido de ver.

This was followed by the final work of the second year, which consisted of designing a rescue vehicle focused on catastrophes that could occur in our country. It is an extremely demanding job since they have to design a vehicle completely from scratch in approximately two months with a group of 4 people, so the simple fact of reaching this point of the delivery is quite an achievement. Apparently this year they were asked to make a scale model of the vehicle they designed, there are some that are better realized than others, but all have a very large and admirable study value. I am not the one to judge the works because one does not know the history and complications behind the group.
Después le siguen los trabajos finales de segundo año, este consistía en diseñar un vehículo de rescate enfocado en catástrofes que pudieran ocurrir en nuestro país. Es un trabajo sumamente exigente ya que hay que diseñar un vehículo totalmente de cero en aproximadamente dos meses con un grupo de 4 personas así que el simple hecho de llegar hasta este punto de la entrega es todo un logro. Al parecer este año les pidieron hacer una maqueta a escala del vehículo que diseñaron, hay algunos que están mejor concretados que otros, pero todos presentan un valor de estudio muy grande y admirable. Tampoco soy quien para juzgar los trabajos porque uno no sabe la historia y complicaciones detrás del grupo.

In general everyone used 3D printing for the different parts of the vehicle, the panels with the graphic presentations explaining the project were fantastic, it is impossible to read everything, but I could dedicate to read a little of the ones that most interested me.
En general todos utilizaron impresión 3D para las diferentes piezas del vehículo, los paneles con las presentaciones graficas explicando el proyecto eran fantásticas, es imposible leer todo, pero pude dedicar a leer un poco de los que más me habían interesado.
Finally, there are the first year works, these at the time I did not do them because I was in another class, but they always come to very good results and this was no exception. As you can see, many different styles of seats were designed with different functionalities for specific users, as well as volumetric, linear or laminar shapes for their design.
Por último, están los trabajos de primer año, estos en su momento no los hice porque me encontraba en otra catedra, pero siempre llegan a resultados muy buenos y esta no fue la excepción. Como podrán ver se pensaron asientos de muchos estilos con diferentes funcionalidades para usuarios específicos a su vez se pensaron formas volumétricas, lineales o laminares para su diseño.

A la hora de ver las entregas de otros, poder preguntar como lo hicieron y en el caso delas bicicletas ver como funcionan te digo que es muy divertido pero atrás de cada trabajo hay horas de esfuerzo y pocas horas de sueño jajaja llegar hasta hi cuesta pero una vez lo logras es una gran satisfacción

Estoy muy de acuerdo, este tipo de exposiciones te ayudan a ver cosas nuevas, salir de tu zona de confort e interactuar con otras personas para preguntar como llegaron a esos resultado o con que herramientas realizaron ciertas piezas y procesos. Lo único que hace falta es tener ganas de entender y aprender más.
Te encanta aprender cosas nuevas
Todo está genial, son muy buenas ideas. No me imagino que otras buenas ideas puede haber allí.
Yo habría pasado todo el día viendo y revisando todos esos trabajos. No podrían sacarme en un par de días de ese lugar.
Por cierto, el de las historietas quedaría muy bien si fuese descargas al teléfono en formato digital de las historietas. Es una opinión, no hacer descargas en físico, sino tener el contenido de forma digital.

El de las historietas me encanto porque la maqueta estaba muy bien hecha y toda la parte visual era super llamativa. Tristemente ese día no pude disfrutar mucho de la exposición porque estuve ayudando a una amiga a terminar y acomodar su entrega porque llego justa de tiempo pero al menos llegue a pasar por todos lados para sacar algunas fotos.
