Tardigrain developed by Humbletune, a top notch granular synthesiser that runs standalone or as an AU. It works by taking a sample, the longer the better and plays back smaller fragments of it.. This enables the creation of new sounds and textures which can be further processed..

Quite haunting sounds. I can see this being used for soundtracks.

It certainly is a great tool for that sort of thing and I often wonder if I should contribute to Musicbed or somewhere like that, mind you this will go out to Soundcloud, Bandcamp etc - will record the audio again later.

I'm pretty intrigued by granular synths and trying to figure out how to include them into my music, in a more aggressive and experimental way

They are quite special and I’ve some others that I’d like to feature here. What gear have you got so far that could feed into one of you had a granny synth (that’s what I call them!)

Nothing for now, I'm working totally with digital. I have a couple of interesting plugins but still need to deep dive into them
