A Journey of Discovery and Progress

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Hello guys,

Today, I took my ENACTUS team out to our project site to get some raw materials for our project. This year we have had a lot of newbies and they are very curious to learn and know more about how things work.

Our projects are targeted at tackling any of the 17 SDGs. This year, we are working on reducing the amount of Carbon dioxide emissions in our society which is caused by bush burning. So, we are converting rice husks and rice straws which are the leftovers of rice harvested into ply wood and other artefacts.

I hope you enjoy it.

I think I got distracted by your voice. That's not why we're here, but it's worth mentioning that it is nice.

I love the video, besides the fact that is educative, for the way it's immersive. Great song in the background, by the way.

Well done to you for doing great with your team.

I've not really had a direct experience with a rice farm or rice company. I learnt quite a new thing here thank you for sharing, project leader nhaji.

I was once like you. It’s surprising how we eat rice all the time yet we don’t even know what goes into it’s production and the effects of its end product on our environment.

I hope you get to have these experiences soon.😄

Their market square looks very small but I’m not surprised because I’ve been around the area once and seen how small the town is.

This was a nice walk through of the project. I’m looking forward to the subsequent parts and the competition. Good luck🙂

I’m curious about how you get these entrepreneurial ideas. Pretty innovative. Good job.

That’s my first time being in that community. It’s just a small place closer to the irrigation dam.

It was a nice but long walk😅. I would bring you more updates soon.

We are entrepreneurs and so this is what we do.😄 we brainstorm all day and night, there’s no rest for people like us.😬
