Beat the Sugar Craving

As they say, too much of everything is bad and same applies to even the food we eat. Day in day out, we eat so many stuff which may either provide is with nutrients or be detrimental to our health. Sugar is something we take into our body everyday whether like it or not. It is present in the food we eat and so obviously, there’d be some amount of sugar in the body after every meal. But we still mange to take in some stuff which contain too much sugar which increases our blood glucose levels.

Most people out there are suffering from diabetes yet they might not even know it. Sugar can be both good and bad for us as individuals and so we must pay very keen attention to the amount of sugar we take into our system. Being a lady, and the person that I am,I hardly take in sugar mainly because it’s not really my thing. I used to be a tea person which meant sugar everyday but not anymore. I love tea, but I don’t love the idea of sugar in tea and I’m also not a fun of honey so I just had to do away with it totally.

With my health condition, I’m not one to take in sugary drinks which are also carbonated. These days, the system is filled with so many carbonated drinks which might be because they’re extremely cheap for the average citizen. And most people go in for them since they can afford it. But, one thing we don’t know is that we are killing ourselves slowing. I am more of a fresh foods and fruit person. I’d rather prepare fruit juice from scratch than step out to buy carbonated drinks. With even the drinks out there they say are purely fruit juices, you find some traces of additives and other stuff in there which are not good for your health.

One main reason I don’t take in sugar aside the fact that I’m just not a sugar person is sugar rush. Most people experience sugar rush when they take in a lot of sugar but for me, any little amount of sugar makes me hyper. If I’m unlucky and I take it at night, it can keep me awake till the next morning and I’d even feel bloated at some point in time.

For those battling with so much sugar intake, I believe the best way they can get rid of excess sugar can be through detoxification, exercise and also managing what they eat keenly. For most people, all their sugar problems arise from the fact that they can’t control their intake, especially we ladies. And so that should be a start to staying healthy and sugar free. In the era where healthcare is very expensive, we all have to make it a point to stay healthy amidst all the ups and downs. I hope this helps someone out there. Thanks for your time.

You are absolutely right. I also feel the same because it is very difficult to eliminate sugar completely and by doing detoxification and various accesses to balance the sugar, we cannot let the sugar level increase.

Wow. Taking sugar makes you hyper? This takes me back to an episode in The Thundermans (a Nickelodeon show). They are a fruit that made them super active; they started running and jumping around.

I’m curious, how does it make you hyper active?

Most people don’t experience this. If you want to see it just observe kids when they take in too much sugar. They just become extra stubborn.😂

I'm not sure I get what you mean by sugar makes you hyper but I'll go research on it. Me sugar is just sweeting me now and pain me later 😂

See drooling over the images you used 🥺😋

Haha, it makes most people hyper but they don’t know. You need to be cut down on the sugar. It’s what gives most ladies cramps and other stuff.
