CHILDREN AND ANDRIOD DEVICES: SHOULD CHILDREN BE ALLOWED TO USE ANDRIOD PHONES?
The world is technologically driven and everyone irrespective of age and creed is expected to the technologically knowledgeable to be able to match up with the vast world of technology. This knowledge can effectively be harnessed from childhood. Childhood years are a period of learning from the environments and the people around them. The emptiness of children’s brains makes it easy for them to learn fast and be able to adapt to their environment. In essence, people who were earlier introduced to technological devices at a very young age happens to do better than their contemporaries. Hence, the effectiveness of a person on the use of technological devices is as a result of how he was introduced to it.
However, different people have divergent views on whether a child should be allowed to use Android devices or not. The question is like two sides of the same coin. Both school of thought have their reasons and each reason is right in itself. However, there is a drawing line as to which is right or wrong. The right question should be, at what age should children be allowed to use Android devices? Having streamlined the issue, it will effortless to digress the issue at hand.
To me, children range from age zero to twelve. Any child that falls between this age range is regarded as a child and should be treated as one. However, people grow differently and at different proportions. Some people grows faster than others, which is why we have differentiation or disparity in body structure and development. Having this right knowledge will help one to know how to deal with people at every time. People will not always get it right when you classify people into a particular group, you are bound to make some mistakes because human beings are social beings, and as a result of their dynamic nature, it becomes difficult to control or deal with them in a group rather than individually.
When human beings’ issues are treated individually and respect is given based on the exclusive nature of each person then most human problems will be effectively deal with. That is why the first step to parenting is understanding the exclusive nature of those you’re parenting, if not you will parent them wrongly. For me I believe that categorizing people based on age should not be the bases for giving them their dues in group but for classification purpose. If we treat every one of the same age the same way then some people will have undue advantage over others.
The question whether children should be allowed to use android devices can best be treated with individual child than in a group. If we say that children should only be allow to use android devices when they get to let’s say, twelve years of age, the lacuna will be that some children at the age of twelve might not be matured enough in age to handle such devices, meanwhile, a child of seven years might be matured and smart enough to handle android devices. So, it will amount to injustice to deprive a child of seven years the leverage of enjoying his devices because his mate is not intelligent and disciplined to do so. Therefore, it is incumbent on parents and caregivers to determined the eligibility of their children’s age putting certain factors into consideration before allowing them to use android devices.

Brilliant argument. It all boils down to the individual nature of children to determine when to give access to technology. Very well done pointing that out, as well as the importance of allowing kids to start early enough.
