Three types of insects that are interesting to look at.

Hi friends, today I will show you three unique types of insects. But of course you often see it, but I still want to display my work to enjoy with morning coffee and delicious pineapple jam bread, in the morning with a glimmer of sunshine.

Nilaparvata Lugens

OK friends, first I will show you the shape of this small insect, its name is the Brown Planthopper or also known as Nilaparvata Lugens. The name of the binomal is very unique, isn't it? This animal is a pest that eats rice leaves or other types of plant leaves.

This animal is called a rice leaf destroying pest. In our village, this small animal is very difficult to eradicate because it is resistant to several insecticide poisons. For farmers, these animals are pests that are very difficult to eradicate.

This type of planthopper has several colors, some are brown, dark blue, or white. However, the planthopper that I shot was a dark blue planthopper, but this planthopper belongs to the Nilaparvata Lugens type which is known as the brown planthopper.

Oxya Japonica

Below are several photos of the rice grasshopper which is also known as Oxya Japonica. This grasshopper is also often called the Japanese grasshopper. This type of grasshopper has a green body, and this type of grasshopper is often found in Indomalaya and Asia, including in my country, Indonesia. In our area, this type of grasshopper is often found in rice fields.

Even for local residents in Indonesia, this type of grasshopper can also be used as a side dish and is delicious eaten with rice.

Telebasis

So, look at some of the photos below, friends. This is a voracious little animal, why not, with very small jaws but capable of preying on other insects larger than itself. This animal is often referred to by local residents as the needle dragonfly, and has another name, namely Telebasis.

However, as far as I know, this dragonfly has several color variants, including orange, red, blue and black. This needle dragonfly is often found in rice fields and river banks. I found this telebasis in a rice field area and I captured it using a macro lens that I installed on my Android cellphone.
