A new video.

In the midst of the latest controversies related to the teleoperation of Optimus, Tesla has just published a new video of the humanoid robot walking and this time autonomously in one of its factories in this new video titled “navigating alone”, Tesla is showing that the optimas can actually walk on his own.

We are seeing optima walking confidently and showing an interesting command of the space around it, not only does it avoid people and obstacles with precision, but it does so using advanced neural networks that allow it to understand its surroundings, this is a huge leap forward in development. of Artificial Intelligence for robots, especially with regard to Autonomous navigation in factories.

Optimas' capabilities go beyond simply walking

The 90-second video offers a fascinating insight into how Optimas works. In it we can see the robot navigating through unknown areas, demonstrating its ability to adapt to the environment and react to obstacles. Throughout the video the word autonomous appears in the upper left corner underlining Optimas is actually operating on its own, without the need for direct human commands, but Optimas' capabilities go beyond simply walking, you can already perform industrial tasks, such as picking up and moving objects.

An example of this is shown in the video where the robot lifts a tray of batteries weighing 11 kg, charging them without difficulty or overheating, it can also interact with human workers and even react to unsafe behavior, making it an efficient and safe assistant. in factory environments.

Details is the presentation.

Imagine an army of robots like Optimus working together, sharing information with each other to optimize their routes and tasks, that is the vision of the future that Tesla is presenting to us, another notable update presented in the video is the Autonomous charging system of optimas now the Robot is able to locate its charger, attach to it and after charging its battery, undock and return to work without human intervention.

This shows how advanced Tesla is in developing completely independent robots, throughout the video it is clear that Tesla is working hard to make Optimus more useful and functional, we can see the robots carrying heavier objects, even climbing stairs , something that until recently was considered a major challenge for humanoid robotics.

The video ends with a somewhat curious scene optimally serving food and drinks to the members of the Tesla team, a clear demonstration that the robot can now perform simple interaction tasks with humans, and what do you think, we are witnessing the beginning of a new era in which autonomous robots will become part of our daily lives, it looks like exciting times are ahead.

How soon before we start deploying these robots to war fronts?
