It was created for work environments.

This robot called KUAVO, is a humanoid developed by the Chinese company Leju Robotics, was created to inspect and maintain high-voltage electrical networks in remote locations without putting any human at risk. The proposal is to transform KUAVO into a true avatar of steel, a robotic body that performs dangerous tasks while being controlled by operators more than 1,200 km away thanks to a private and dedicated 5G network.

This ultra-fast connection is the heart of the system, guaranteeing real-time transmission and almost zero latency, something essential when working with high-voltage power lines.

During tests conducted between Beijing and Shanghai, KUAVO demonstrated 84% greater efficiency than traditional human methods, taking on tasks such as tower inspections, thermal monitoring and preventive maintenance. Remote operation eliminated the risk of accidents and showed the potential of 5G to automate critical environments in complete safety.

Technical Specifications.

The secret of its performance is in its engineering, KUAVO is a modular robot with versions that vary between 1.20 and 1.66 cm in height and weigh between 34 and 55 kg. The most advanced model KUAVO-MY has 30 degrees of freedom, which means movements similar to those of a human being.

Its battery guarantees more than 8 hours of continuous operation and its sensor system includes 3D cameras, directional microphones, lidar and 360º panoramic vision, which allows navigation and spatial reception, even in challenging terrain.

It walks on sand, grass and uneven surfaces, can jump up to 20 cm and carry up to 20 kg of payload such as tools and inspection equipment, all this is combined with a travel speed of 4.6 km/h enough to cover large areas of electrical network with agility.
