Finding Your Niche
The blockchain is an amazing place to be and at the same time a vast universe on its own with different sections, sectors, Dapps, communities, people, etc, such that one could easily lose their way and get overwhelmed with so much going at a time.
This is why it becomes pertinent that we take our time on the blockchain, we ought to find where we belong, we ought to find out what works for us, and stick to this. When it comes to finding your niche a lot comes into play and yet it is not the most difficult thing to do, it only takes patience and consistency.
I said patience and consistency because no matter how good you may be with a particular skill or a group where you find yourself it takes time to meet new people, to make friends, to learn about the rules, to engage, and to invest.
The saying goes that one cannot reap where they haven't sowed and this applies to all aspects of our lives including the blockchain. If you wish to reap you ought to sow and this comes in different ways including being consistent to create awareness and recognition for yourself, investing and powering up, showcasing your skill, and being genuine always
How to Find Your Niche
The first step to finding where you belong is asking yourself what have you to offer the blockchain as a whole. Can you invest? Can you power up a significant amount of power to benefit others and yourself or do you have a skill that you believe investors would be interested in, once you have been able to answer the question of what to offer then you are a step closer to finding where you belong.
Next is to search for a community that offers or accepts what you have to offer. And so if you believe you are very talented when it comes to music, you can sing or play an instrument to the marvel of the lot and you can easily wow the crowd then you may join music communities like an open mic and the likes, there you can truly shine and you could easily be recognized for your talent which could pay off eventually.
The other thing now after finding a community where you can exhibit your skill is to do the wait and the investment to get the outcome. The fact that you are amazing at what you do does not mean all users will troop into your post to see your special performance. You have to put in the work, visit others, engage, and make new friends, your friends would want to see what you have to share and then by their repost you get to reach a larger audience and with time you could get the recognition you "truly deserve".
In all this, don't forget to also be investing through powerups, don't forget to be consistent with your content sharing, and do not end up in so many communities trying to be everywhere at the same time that you end up nowhere because, at the end of the day, you don't really have a place you can call your own or where you belong.
Conclusion
And so I hope this helps our users especially the newbies who may have joined us on the platform, I would admonish all of us to put in the work and be patient with our efforts, you may not see results in a day or two or weeks or months but I can assure you that your consistency would pay off if you do not give up and you keep up the good work.
