Community Engagement - Hive Ghana Expects More From Us
Our community has really come a long way since its inception by our founders and through their hard work and the support of members as well as our benefactors and benefactresses, today our community has over 600 subscribers and over 160 active users on any day.
This is a great achievement that we all must be proud of however as a moderator there are a few things that leaders have noticed that I thought it wise to bring to our attention and I am hoping that we all get to take this in good faith and work on it for the betterment and growth of our community in the days to come.
Let's Engage Each Other's Work
Some of us only see the community as a place to dump their articles or writeups and then move on to the next thing, they write and expect others to share their thoughts in the work they may have written while leaving others to themselves. We are not just a community, we are family, and we are a representation of not just Ghana but Africa on the blockchain.
We are supposed to help each other be the very best versions of ourselves, we learn from each other, we correct each other's mistakes and we appreciate each other's work so that we would get the enthusiasm to keep sharing and make the community bigger and better every day. So what happens if everyone decides to just write and leave?
Do you expect to get curated by doing so? How do you make new friends if you do not reach out to people? Remember the blockchain works just like how our world out there works: through relations, we grow, learn, find new opportunities, etc. Community engagement is a very crucial aspect of how far we have come and how far we intend to go if we wish to see our community at the top in the days ahead.
And so brethren, distinguished and honored members of our noble community, Hive Ghana expects more from me and you, let's endeavor to share good and high-quality content, let's add beautiful images to our works, let's cite our sources, let's be original in our works and above all let's show appreciation to the work of others because it takes a whole lot for someone to perhaps research and share their experiences with us here on the blockchain.
Conclusion
I believe that if we all make efforts towards this, then we could have a very vibrant exciting, well-appreciated community with happy members always. Together we stand, divided we fall, if anyone seeks to reach further in their destination, then it is better to have a companion than to travel alone, unless you seek to just move fast, but then how far would you go?

I believe we're not just contributors; we're a collective trying to shape the face of blockchain on the Continent. Indeed it does, we can only grow together by supporting each other in that regard
Engagement is really important, if all of us only write and go without interacting with the post of others, it will make no sense at all. Imagine giving your best in a post and at the end of the day you had no feedbacks, how would you feel? it's hurts honestly. Even if you are the best author and you get the highest upvotes there's how you will feel about that.
Most of the people I know on the chain, came through engagement, I know it's not easy but then I really enjoy doing it most times.
