My response to the @Indiaunited Contest - Theme: Which application do you spend most of your time on—mobile or laptop?

That's very true that in this new age we spend a lot of time on our gadgets, some for leisure and some for work. Though I am not a gadget fan but I do end up spending lot of time on my gadgets for work. More than the phone, my time is spent on the laptop. When I am traveling, it becomes very inconvenient for me to work on my phone. The app that I use the most on my laptop is the MS office and in that excel is the most used. I can say my life runs on excels. Everything is noted, not only my expenses and budgeting but also all my other areas of life, like travel plans, medical records, my Airbnb business transactions, my staff accounts, details of my life goals, and everything.

I also handle accounts for my society, and even that is managed on excel. Even at my workplace, I used X-cel the most for making reports and data analysis. So, this is the app which I use the most on my laptop. I do not like to do all this work on my mobile as I find it tedious, it is easier to manage on the laptop.

On the mobile, the app that I use the most is the Video editor, I use the YouCut Video editor app, it's easy to use. For my Airbnb promotion I need to constantly keep generating content, I need to make reels and short clips for promotion, and this app is very helpful to me. And the second one I use the most is the Instagram, because this is where I do the promotion. Running ads on Insta, addressing queries from the ads, it is all a constant job for me, so this is the app that I use the most. Apart from this I enjoy playing Sudoku game, so I do spend some time almost daily on this game also on my phone. Now doing this work is convenient on the phone and not on the laptop.

Both of them have their own uses and convenience. I avoid using phone unnecessarily, at the same time not to deny that I do spend some leisure time on my phone which is mostly scrolling through Insta reels. It is addictive but I try to keep it in control. We have reached a stage where life without gadgets is almost impossible. Some people use it more and some less, but almost everyone uses it.
