Greetings.

As being of Medical Student I am going to start my writings about Medical terminologies. From now to onwards I'll write about each and everything, which should he discussed in Medical Science.

What is Psychology???

If Psychology is divided into two parts, then two words become PSYCHO and Logic. PSYCHO means SELF and LOGIC means KNOWLEDGE. According to this literal meaning, PSYCHOLOGY is the name of KNOWLEDGE related to SELF.
In the science of psychology, the mental life of man and his role are studied in detail.

Theoretical Psychology

Theoretical Psychology is the branch in which the basic principles of Psychology are studied, the nature of the human mind, its roles and functions.


Applied Psychology

Applied Psychology is also a branch of the study of the related issues of the individual, it studies the individual's physical, legal, educational, business, social issues.


General Psychology

It is a branch of psychology that studies the state of the human mind. His character is studied. A detailed study of the conditions of the human being's sense, perception, memory, imagination, thought, emotion, etc.


Abnormal Psychology

Abnormal Psychology is the branch in which the human mind and its psychological disorders are studied and observed. Patients suffering from mental disorders are studied. Studies are conducted on individuals who are suffering from a mental illness or mental confusion or mental disorder. It also helps to understand the Normal mind. It helps in the treatment of mental and nervous disorders.


Experimental Psychology

Mental processes, their functions and roles are studied in the laboratory. By analyzing the mental state of mental patients and criminals, experimental psychology helps them to change their criminal state of mind.


Social Psychology

This branch deals with social and societal issues. Studying the mind of the individual in terms of how he thinks about the society and the society, the study of the functions arising from the interaction of two members of the society is part of the branch of psychology.


Child Psychology

This branch includes problems related to child psychology. Children's mind and character are studied. Children's habits are studied by their behavior. Children's mental disorders are also included in it.


Educational Psychology

The mental state of the student, his hobbies, his needs, his interests and his character are studied in educational psychology. Through its study we find out how the student can be better served in his field of study. Solutions are suggested so that the student can become an active member by studying in a better way and in a better environment.


Animal Psychology

It studies the psychology of animals. The study and observation of psychology also helps in understanding the psychology of children and adolescents. By comparing humans and animals, similarities and dissimilarities are found in them which helps in understanding their psychology.


Clinical Psychology

Physical psychology is studied in this branch of psychology. This branch helps in mental diseases and its solution. By studying this branch of psychology we can understand the condition of any mental patient in terms of psychological issues and can offer a solution for it.


Criminal Psychology

Any person who commits any kind of crime has a specific psychology, he commits crime due to specific psychological motivations.


Comparative Psychology

It is a branch in which human and animal psychology is compared. The psychology of different types of people and different types of animals is studied and the differences between them are explained.


Developmental Psychology

In this branch of psychology, the mental development and physical development of an individual is studied. It studies the intrauterine development and postnatal development of the baby. Both mental and physical development are examined in this branch.


Physiological Psychology

This branch of psychology studies the structure, development and functions of various systems of an individual such as the nervous system. Apart from this, senses, muscles, mind, nerves, forbidden brain and different parts of the brain are studied in this branch. It also includes the study of ductal glands.
