Snagging Lux Vega

I have finally taken the plunge and snagged a Lux Vega after facing off against her so many times in Gold I in modern and she somehow manages to come out on top. It was a hard decision because there is only a certain amount of time left in modern and she isn't a cheap card.

Will it be enough to push me into Diamond III? Time will tell, but I seem to meet accounts that seem to only ever play Lux Vega and they often manage to beat me somehow. I hope by snagging Lux Vega I can start to turn the tide on them.

It was great being able to select Lux Vega from my summoner lineup. Lux Vega is one of the cards that I had my eye on for a while and at one point cost more than a Runi, but the price seems to have dropped recently, especially with the rotation to Wild not far off.

I decided to get rid of my Runi as I can't stand ETH and when we can't port the Runi to Hive or Wax, keeping it on ETH was no longer an option for me. If they make it portable like other Splinterlands assets, I would like to get a Runi again as I really miss it, after Jared Scar, it was my favorite card.

I managed to bag my first victory on my first match with Lux Vega. With a +1 speed, shield and health buff, it is pretty powerful. It costs only 4 mana which is also pretty reasonable. Usually with 3 buffs, you need at least 6 mana! I did ask in the Splinterlands discord and they said if you have the other modern summoners, you don't need the neuteral one necessarily, but I still think it is nice to have.

I remember when the Lux Vega was given to people who attended the Splinterfest in Las Vegas many moons ago and Splinterlands was still in its peak. Now we have the team with a Hive DHF proposal and requesting funds to extend their runway. Hopefully we will continue to have the game in the future as it is a worrying situation.

The Lux Vega was really one of it's kind especially since it's also limited. Its not one of my most favorite card though as I doesn't have a native ability, (not that I can even afford it) if you known what I mean.

I remember when the Lux Vega was given to people who attended the Splinterfest in Las Vegas many moons ago and Splinterlands was still in its peak. Unfortunately the situation of splinterlands is really painful though. All that money and means back then and now.... It's such a situation

I remember the event so well and many people were there. The card was really limited and everybody wanted one. Its now painful to see the cash running out and the game slowing down to how it was. I hope that we can see the good times again soon!

I guess running the game comes with a lot of effort and sadly a lot of mistakes has been made by the game runners.

Yes its a very powerful summoner! It can give you quite an edge in the game.

Lux Vega is a game changer! She will drag you in diamond, no doubt about it! Good for you taking that plunge. She isn't a cheap card, but much better now than the initial price she sold at!
