Opportunities of today : web 3 is what we need but don’t know yet

I love talking about how the internet has provided an avenue for adequate creativity and inventions in the world of today. And as far as I can tell, many of you will also agree with me on that.

In this life. There are countless things that we have to be watchful of, and one of those things is opportunities.

To not miss out - We need to stop looking for answers and start asking the right questions.

Because opportunity is all around us

Instead of saying crypto, blockchain, and Web 3 today are all fancy words scammers are using to scam unsuspecting victims, we should emphasize asking ourselves exactly what it is we will miss out on by not being exposed to the Web 3 ecosystem.

There are times when opportunities pass us by, without us realizing what it is we have missed, and are still missing out on.

This is how I still see people who are still in the Web 2 ecosystem without having any presence in the Web 3 world.

This is why what we give our creative energy and attention to is what will always place us in a position of opportunity, or in a position to miss out on them.

You will become what you give your attention to—web 2 or web 3?

Freedom or Algorithm?

When I see people get censored after building their users on platforms like TikTok, threads, and YouTube.

What gets to me is that many of these people have garnered sufficient attention and created enough presence on Web 2. Sometimes so big that they don't want to seek other opportunities that may be much better.

Even if is(better) or not

This is when many choose the medium over the message.

When sh&t happens, many of us only like to complain and lose our shit. All due to the algorithm on such platforms. I think there are some hivers(and even influencers)who gets shadow banned(and even blocked) for mentioning Hive or shilling hive too much on X. Tbh it could be anything the platform doesn't want or doesn't consider right.

Every so often, this is just a show of power to users(big or small) who don't follow the elites' accord. We've seen this happen times without numbers with people like Kanye and Tate.

This is why freedom matters.

Only that many don't want freedom, and many don't even know what freedom is.

I think not knowing about the Web 3 experience is the only proper reason to not use Web 3 as a medium for passing your message across to your chosen audience.
We know Web 3 isn't as big as Web 2, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get involved with Web 3 world of real freedom and ownership.

Today we can get in trouble for giving our attention to something that’s not worth it(like only shilling web2) because that indirectly means we’ll lose out on something else of value.

For instance, web 3(don't lose out)

Many are losing out on Hive

Presently, many are only looking at Web 3 as a fictional story about to happen. Of which it has already started and Hive is leading the way in my open onion.
However, only a small part of the population is aware of what type of potential web3 provides for the average Joe.

While the meta verse might be fiction for Moon Kids right now. Web 3 is not fiction anymore, as platforms like Hive are showing us what’s possible and what isn’t with crypto and blockchain technology.

To some people, crypto, web3, and blockchain are all namedrops that they think will shape our world in the future.

They also thought it would be built by people like Mark, Elon, and the Bezos of the world. All because they are the ones dominating the social media world of today. This is where many people's attention is. That people like Elon will bring Web 3.

On average, anyone is more susceptible to listening and following these people, than to paying attention to the average Joe like Khal who built INLEO (not so Joe anymore, but you get the point).

People will take advantage of our attention.

If you all remember back in 2020 when a Twitter hack happened, many of these said big names started tweeting about sending double of any amount of crypto you send to their address. Which was later said to be a scam

How many people do you think fell for this scam? Can you take a guess?

A lot did, and even up to today, many are still going to fall for the same gimmicks if done again by the big players—directly or indirectly.

All because they give so much weight to whatever they hear from big people with big names

But Web 3 will put an end to that and open our eyes to opportunity

Built for the people and by the people

Hive and Inleo should be where we put our creative energy and attention to better use as they both show how much a community can achieve with one voice

With Web 3 today, especially here on Hive, many people have been able to build reputable relationships with hivers, that would even enable them to hold their words special in their mind than to listen to influencers or big players on Web 2 platforms.

Web 3 is about building real trust and relationships that go way beyond the social setting up to financial advice and insights.

All this is an opportunity, but many still won’t pay attention to it—why?
