Becoming average to fit in

Want a reliable road to emotional and spiritual suicide? Spend your life trying to fit in.

Brandon Mull

As the world is evolving in the information age many of the dots are now connected (but still invincible to many) however only a few find the time to not do what everybody else does.

Which is to - complain about not having access to the right information and data.

But then, such a fellow spends 6-plus hours on Instagram, on average, every day.

However, we also have those who see the internet as a tool to be used, instead of an avenue for excessive gists and gossip.

This is why it is how people use the internet that will differentiate them from other users.

Many are usually not into gossip, but just so they can fit in, they make time for such activity which then gets repeated, and eventually becomes a routine. And this indirectly registers many as a member of the herd.

The way society is nowadays, many are perpetually in the disposition to figure out what is the latest news and latest trends of society.

What is that new thing that society has accepted(or is about to accept)?

Anyone who follows the trend is considered a part of the group, while those who don't follow the herd are considered uncivilized.

All the plots to be in a constant loop of seeking the next shiny little thing have made many people blind to notice what has already been built which poses far better benefits to whatever is currently the trend. Although that's never always the case, as sometimes we can also learn from trends, but in most cases, they are merely a distraction.

Those who are builders in the technology space are well aware of this concept and have the zeal to not get swayed into the concept of trying to look at what is considered normal.

To exist and dominate your sector, you've got I find a way to not be average but rather become extraordinary because many are only going average. And average always gives average results. There is no other way around it.

Don't get distracted

Or try to fit in

Fitting in can go in many ways and can be different according to the situation we are being faced with at the moment. But in most cases, it's always best to take the unusual and weird pill that society rejects.

The current trend is crypto, and it's evident that society is making moves to reject and eliminate this sector. And I see many other people follow this path too, just because they've seen it online or heard it in the news that crypto is too volatile for anyone to touch.

Just for this simple reason, many people are losing out on the benefits of being in the un-shinny zone of the financial market.

Whatever the case may be, there's nothing that has tried to fit into the society spectrum that has ever been able to become something great.

Imagine if crypto had tried to fit in with cash. What would have been the difference

Life would've sucked so much because these(tax collectors)fat f@cker would have taxed our asses out or abruptly put an end to the operations in the crypto world. But that wasn't the case because crypto is not meant to replicate cash, but rather to make the world a more level playing field for all players.

We as humans are socially inclined to attempt to fit into the societal world we created ages ago. However, What's the point of change when we still think doing all society deems normal, ordinary, and average is supposed to be the only criteria we set for also living our life and achieving goals?

Why do we want to become average or want to fit in?

Until next time

Wow, what a post!
In the 80s and the 90s, this situation would be referred to as "becoming a fashion victim", which was dreaded those days.
So many things have changed...
I miss quality single voices, honestly.

Yes it has. We can only strive to be ourselves in a world where we are to be told what to do all the time.
