On 28/04/2026, while walking, an insect suddenly caught my eye. I looked closely and saw that it was a wasp! It was sitting very calmly on a leaf.
When I saw the wasp, I first thought it was going to sting me. So at first I was afraid to get close to take a picture. But when I saw that it was not moving! Then I took a little courage and took a picture from a very close distance.

After taking the picture, I zoomed in on the screen and saw that its body color was beautiful. It is reddish-brown in color and has a beautiful yellow ring near the abdomen. There is also a yellow spot on the back. From a distance, the naked eye cannot make out so many details. The insect looked quite beautiful in the sunlight.

Later, I searched on Google and i-Naturalist and found that in English they are called Paper Wasp. The most interesting thing is that they chew tree branches and mix them with saliva to make a nest that looks like paper. And although they look scary, they do us a lot of good by eating other harmful insects in the garden.

Anyway, let me know what you think of these pictures of Paper Wasps.
