Quiero comenzar el post diciendo que mi laptop la compré hace unos 7 meses, pero no le había hecho review nunca, o mejor dicho, nunca me había tomado el tiempo de sentarme a contar mi experiencia verdadera con mi equipo HP Probook 640, que honestamente desde que la compré solo me ha traído muchos beneficios inmensos en cuanto a la creación de contenido para Hive y sobre todo para muchos trabajos/oportunidades que me ha surgido donde mi laptop me ha servido para muchísimo, así que desde ya para mi la compra ha sido un 10/10, pero, les quiero dar mi experiencia detallada en cuanto a su rendimiento, hablando de batería, comportamiento de ram, gaming y edición.

I want to start the post by saying that I bought my laptop about 7 months ago, but I had never reviewed it, or rather, I had never taken the time to sit down and tell my real experience with my HP Probook 640, which honestly since I bought it has brought me many immense benefits in terms of content creation for Hive and especially for many jobs/opportunities that have arisen where my laptop has served me for a lot, so for me the purchase has been a 10/10, but, I want to give you my detailed experience in terms of performance, talking about battery, ram behavior, gaming and editing.

Comencemos hablando de las características con las que me vino el equipo, y es que cabe resaltar que este equipo no lo compré nuevo y tampoco es el mas potente de la marca HP, pero cumple con lo que se pide o en este caso lo que pido yo para trabajar y para lo que la utilizo generalmente, y son los siguientes:

• Sistema operativo Windows de 64 bits.
• 4GB de Ram DDR3 (ampliable a 16gb y contando con otro canal extra para tener dos Rams)
• Intel Core i5 4300M // 2.60GHz
• Según donde la compré, cuenta con 128gb de Disco Duro SSD, pero refleja solo 111gb (No soy muy experto en esto, supongo que el resto se lo lleva en sistema).
• Grafica integrada Intel HD Graphics 4600, que funciona para correr unos buenos juegos pero no de alto motor grafico.

• Windows 64-bit operating system.

• Intel Core i5 4300M // 2.60GHz

• Integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600, which works to run some good games but not high graphics engine.

Si lo que buscas es creación de contenido, un portátil para trabajos remotos o para cumplir labores diarias con el uso de herramientas ofimáticas pues bien, ahora si buscas potencia para correr altos juegos con alto nivel de gráficos o aplicaciones que requieran un nivel de edición mas avanzado por ejemplo Photoshot, ilustrator, entre otros, pues no es la opción ideal en el mercado, pero, su punto resaltante es que cuenta con la posibilidad de expandirla, y volverla una maquina.

If you are looking for content creation, a laptop for remote work or to fulfill daily tasks with the use of office tools, well, now if you are looking for power to run high level games with high level of graphics or applications that require a more advanced level of editing such as Photoshot, illustrator, among others, it is not the ideal choice in the market, but its highlight is that it has the ability to expand it, and turn it into a machine.

Yéndonos al apartado de rendimiento del equipo, yo desde el día 1 hasta ahora siento que la laptop corre super fluido, no tiene trabas, no se pega en los programas, de hecho me he quedado sorprendido con algunos programas que corre los cuales pensaba que no, y lo que me gusta mucho también es que puedo tener hasta 10 pestañas abiertas sin que se cierren tan rápido y sobre todo sin que se ponga lenta la computadora.

En cuanto a la batería, la verdad me parece aceptable porque entre el calculo que le he hecho, tiene una duración de 3 horas de uso continuo tipo sin parar, pero como no me la paso todo el día pegado en la laptop así que por lo general "dura mas" pero si lo sacas por el tiempo de uso, pues sigue básicamente lo mismo.

Going to the performance section of the equipment, I from day 1 until now I feel that the laptop runs super smooth, has no hindrances, does not stick in the programs, in fact I've been surprised with some programs that runs which I thought not, and what I also like a lot is that I can have up to 10 tabs open without closing so fast and especially without slowing down the computer.

As for the battery, the truth seems acceptable to me because between the calculation that I have done, has a duration of 3 hours of continuous use non-stop type, but as I do not spend all day glued to the laptop so usually “lasts longer” but if you take it out for the time of use, it is still basically the same.

Para edición de contenido la verdad es que en Canva corre muy bien, se lleva muy bien con la web y poder crear presentaciones, flyers, curriculums, y demás, se hace bastante practico allí, pero, en cuanto a la edición de video si es un poco mas pesado con Capcut, y es que si lo corre, pero llega un punto donde comienza a trabajar un poco lento y los videos o transiciones tardan un poco en cargar, no se si ya sea por tema de procesador, de ram o inclusive de espacio en el disco duro, pero aquí si ya comencé a notarle un poco mas los flaqueos pero de igual forma sigue siendo una muy buena opción para editar. Ya con otros programas si que de verdad es mucho mas pesado hasta el punto de considerarlo imposible y hasta desesperante, pero bueno, sabemos que esos programas requieren un poco mas de características.

For content editing the truth is that in Canva runs very well, gets along very well with the web and to create presentations, flyers, resumes, and others, it becomes quite practical there, but, as for video editing if it is a little heavier with Capcut, and is that if you run it, but there comes a point where it starts to work a little slow and the videos or transitions take a little time to load, I do not know if it is a processor issue, ram or even space on the hard drive, but here if I started to notice a little more the flaws but still remains a very good choice for editing. With other programs it is really much heavier to the point of considering it impossible and even desperate, but well, we know that these programs require a little more features.

Por ultimo, me quiero enfocar en los juegos, y es que aquí es bastante interesante, porque puedes correr un montón de juegos (mas que todo de años anteriores) de manera fluida pero cuando saltamos a los actuales, ahí si ya no porque las exigencias minimas ya son mas altas que los componentes de mi laptop. Pero yo probé 3 títulos bastante interesantes, que son el Blasphemous, Sea of Stars y el Waven que es de Steam.

En los dos primeros, la experiencia fué excelente, los fps muy bien, todo fluidamente, los controles respondían a tiempo y podia jugar con los graficos a tope, no tenia que bajar que resolución ni acomodar alguna otra cosa, sin embargo, con el Waven si fué diferente mi experiencia, puesto que se ve un juego que no lleva mucho, la verdad que a mi equipo le costó mas, y ahi su fué todo lo contrario a mi experiencia con los dos titulos anteriores, aqui si habia baja respuesta del juego, control con mucho tardanza a la hora de responder, pantallas de cambios de escenarios y cargas mas lentas, todo eso que puede llegar a hacer un juego bastante aburrido pese a que realmente sea tremendo juegazo.

Finally, I want to focus on games, and here it is quite interesting, because you can run a lot of games (mostly from previous years) smoothly but when we jump to the current ones, there if no longer because the minimum requirements are already higher than the components of my laptop. But I tested 3 quite interesting titles, which are Blasphemous, Sea of Stars and Waven which is from Steam.

In the first two, the experience was excellent, the fps very well, everything smoothly, the controls responded on time and I could play with the graphics to the fullest, I did not have to lower the resolution or accommodate anything else, however, with the Waven my experience was different, since it is a game that does not take much, the truth is that my team found it harder, and it was the opposite of my experience with the two previous titles, here if there was low response of the game, control with much delay in responding, scenario change screens and slower loads, all that can make a game quite boring even though it really is a great game.

Así que básicamente esta es mi reseña sobre mi experiencia con la HP Probook 640, y concluyendo con todo, si la recomiendo, siempre y cuando necesites un portatil o laptop para trabajar, crear contenido por ejemplo en Hive que viene como anillo al dedo, labores académicas, inclusive para gestionar redes sociales personales o profesionales, es ideal, del resto, si tienes una vara de medida mas alta, pues si vas a necesitar un poco mas de inversión para una laptop con mejores atributos. So basically this is my review about my experience with the HP Probook 640, and concluding with everything, if I recommend it, as long as you need a notebook or laptop to work, create content for example in Hive that comes like a glove, academic work, even to manage personal or professional social networks, it is ideal, otherwise, if you have a higher yardstick, because if you're going to need a little more investment for a laptop with better attributes.
