It is a neem tree. It is known as Azadirachta indica, neem, neem tree or Indian lilac which grows in abundance in our area. It is a medicinal plant so I eat one of its leaves daily. Neem helps me to stay healthy and removes the bad feeling of illness in the body throughout the day. I tell people to eat neem leaves because we are all constantly attacked by viruses, fungi, and bacteria and it can protect us from their harm. I also tell you to eat one neem leaf daily and stay healthy.

Azadirachta indica or neem is a tree of the mahogany family Meliaceae. One species of neem is native to the Indian subcontinent, and another is native to Africa. It is usually grown in the tropics or regions where the temperature is high. As the temperature is very high in Iran, neem is also grown there. The environment for growing this plant in India and Bangladesh is very good as both water and heat are there and the climate is favorable for growing the plant.

Neem is a medium-sized and fast-growing tree. This tree grows 49-66 feet tall and varies in height depending on age. I like its small plants because the leaves are easy to get. It is called deciduous because its leaves fall in winter. The tree grows many branches and spreads. Their leaf size is usually 1.5 to 2 inches but can be 2.5 to 4 inches long. Its flowers are 5-6 mm long and produce fruits. Its flower color is white and beautiful. The fruits look like a capsule and are similar in length. It is slightly larger than the capsule in size. The skin of the fruit is thin and bitter. But the fruit can be slightly sweet which birds like to eat. This fruit contains two or three seeds. Neem wood is very hard and free from insect attack. Its wood does not rot easily and is durable. Neem wood is more expensive than other woods and makes good quality furniture. It is identified as a very essential tree by the people in the society

Neem has various biological and chemical constituents. It has been known as a medicinal plant with many constituents together and in large quantities. Let's know about the constituents of neem.

Constituents in Neem leaves

Neem leaves contain quercetin (flavonoid), nimbosterol (β-sitosterol), liminoids (Nimbin and its derivatives). Quercetin is a polyphenolic flavonoid that has antibacterial and antifungal properties. Neem you see people use on sores and it really heals. Quercetin may cure sores and scabies, which is present in neem leaves. Limonoids such as nimosinolide and isonimosinolide in neem leaves can kill houseflies and reduce fly populations at doses between 100 and 500 ppm. Fresh ripe leaves of neem are anti-fungal. So it can also be called a natural antifungal. Anyway, the main ingredients of neem leaves are
