For which we used fungicides in crop fields | Science

We have mustard fields. Our mustard has been attacked by a fungus which is spoiling the mustard fruit. We are using fungicides to solve the problems of dying, yellowing, and black spotting of mustard fruit. I explain the diseases more clearly below

As you can see in the above picture, the top fruits of this mustard plant are dead brown and most of the fruits are dead.

In the above picture you can see that a mature mustard fruit has dark spots and bruises on it. This problem can reduce the size of the mustard seeds and the fruit can even be totally wasted

This is the initial stage of the death of mustard disease-infected fruit. Small fruits are turning yellow and spoiling. It is a small fruit so disease attack kills it easily

Such a condition of the farmer's crop always worries the farmer as this disease reduces the quantity of the crop. Currently, land cultivation is very expensive and the cost of labor has also increased. Again these farmers depend on the crop to meet their economic needs. Therefore, effective drugs must be used to avoid crop diseases and damage.

These crop diseases are fungal. Mustard fields have had a lot of fungal attacks this year and this has caused problems. Farmers are using fungicides and so are we. The brand name of this fungicide is Amistar Top. Farmers have already benefited from using it and are advising each other that it is effective. We consulted the pharmacist, he prescribed this fungicide. The ingredients of this fungicide are Azoxystrobin and Difenoconazole

Azoxystrobin is an organic compound fungicide that is commonly used. Azoxystrobin inhibits mitochondrial respiration by inhibiting electron transport, so it is very effective in controlling fungi. I am surprised that the first product name for Azoxystrobin was Amister. We still buy it under that name. Anyway, another name of this fungicide is Difenoconazole. It is also a single fungicide. A combination of these two ingredients gives very good results

Amister top should be applied at 200 ml/acre. It suppresses mustard diseases, increases grain size and increases yield by 10%. It increases the life of the crop. The longer the crop is in the field, the higher the yield. We applied and benefited first time. We hope it will work and increase mustard yield

I haven't physically held an unharvested form of a mustard seed before, farming, in general, is no day job and it can be draining and exhausting, sorry about your experience with the crops but it's also good to see you have the fungicide help out there.

Yes, farmers worry when their crops are infected with disease, but thanks to modern science, crops can be made disease-free. Thanks for commenting
