DAILY BLOG | A Day In My Life As A Senior High Student ☆
Hey everyone!! 👋🏻 Welcome back to MIYA’s blog! Today’s blog is all about where I share it to y’all the daily experiences, challenges, and joys of life as a senior high school student in the STEM strand. My days are a blend of early mornings, intense study sessions, and moments of quiet reflection, and each one bringing me a step closer to my dream of becoming a civil engineer! <3
I usually woke up at 5:00 A.M to get ready for school, and today as I was rinsing the rice I couldn’t notice of how beautiful the sunrise is! I was greeted by the most beautiful sunrise. The sky was painted with shades of orange and pink, and for a moment, I just stood there, captivated by the beauty of the morning. It was a peaceful start for me to know that today would be a busy day.
Our day starts off with General Biology. And today, our teacher tasked us with a fun activity, cutting out a very small letter "e" from a newspaper and observing it under a microscope. We used different levels of magnification, 4x, 10x, and even 100x. It was very fascinating to see how something so small could look so different under various magnifications. The activity was incredibly fun and a great way to start the day.
After Biology, we had an oral quiz, followed by more lessons. I enjoy our morning subjects the most, but there’s always a bit of nervousness because it feels like we have a test or an oral quiz almost every day. The pressure keeps me on edge, but it also pushes me to stay prepared and focused.
Finally lunch is a time to relax and recharge, and today, my friends and I decided to treat ourselves. We headed to Worthy, a favorite spot of ours, to buy milk tea, we really love their milktea (highly recommended!). It’s a small indulgence, but it’s these little moments that make the school day more enjoyable. We rarely have time to relax, so taking a break like this feels special.
In the afternoon, there wasn't much going on because it was our scheduled time for ID photos. And the view from our building is amazing and the atmosphere is great!
At the end of the day, I couldn't wait to go home already because I still had a lot of things to do. Being a student and a SSLG officer is really not that easy, it is indeed hard and very tiring but I am trying my best to balance this two and manage my time!!

Before I end this blog, I am forwarding this post hoping that you get an idea of what my daily life as a senior high STEM student entails. Whether you’re a fellow student, someone curious about the life of a STEM student, or just looking for some inspiration, I hope my stories resonate with you. Every day is the adventure that consists of troubles, findings, and triumphs that contribute to the formation of the desired character.
Studying, having fun, and having some free time is not always possible but it is all worth it. I have only described a part of the journey that I am on and I am glad for every moment of it, from waking up to the sun to a completed day’s work.
That is all for today my dear readers! Thank you for being with me today. As I continue this journey, I @miyasomi, look forward to sharing more insights, lessons learned, and perhaps a few more of those simple joys that make the hard work worthwhile. Until next time, keep pursuing your dreams with determination and don’t forget to appreciate the beauty in the everyday moments. 💞

Stem student here! Using microscope is so fun especially looking at plant cells 😄.... You have such a busy day po. Have a great day.
ikr, microscope is fun! thanks
Oh my, memories come flashing as I read this. Memories of my life as a student. When you are a student, talagang puno punonang schedule ng puro aral lang no. Its amazing how we can survive the day doing all this. It is also like a hard practice and getting ready for the time when we finish studying and corporate world naman ang haharapin. Though mas masaya pa rin ang buhay studyante.
true! we always say na nakakapagod talaga but in the end of the day, we survived and did it!
Good luck to your journey, how I missed my senior high school day's 😔
thank u po
You should use the lice of your classmate to see how it looked like under a microscope HAHAHA. Just kidding! STEM is quite challenging strand. My brother is currently in STEM, good luck to him :).
