When $20k goes to $60k

Bitcoin is less than 20% away from it’s all time high, congratulations to you if you witnessed the top in 2022 and held until now, especially if you bought the top and you’re still here, and perhaps even bought more, you’re the real MVP,….

…..the experience you get when you buy Bitcoin at $10k and watch it go up to $60k is totally different from when you buy at $60k and watch it go down to $20k, also the conviction you get when $60k goes down to $20k and then goes back up to $60k and beyond is different from the conviction you get when $10k just goes up to $60k.

Did I hear $200k BTC?

Interesting how comfortably I’m talking about a $60k bitcoin, howfar we’ve come, I’m even being cool, many people are already calling for a $200k Bitcoin, what do we make of that.

Anyway, Bitcoin is up and the world is good again, but most alts are still a long shot from their all time highs, what are we to make of this? people are saying it’s that Bitcoin dominance time of the season, and quite clearly so it is, but how many of us are really really really ready for that alt season?

Let me tell you a short story, last bull run, I DCA’d out of my Hive holdings which is my biggest bag, even though I was slow to start, my plan was to steadily build up a stash of stables I’ll use to buy back when prices went lower, and I really did, I allocated myself about $7k that was generating over $100 per month through HBD, it felt really good,…..

…….but life had other plans for me, because I don’t have that $7k anymore especially when I needed it the most, and I couldn’t buy anything back lower, what I have now is the remnant from last bull runs sales and what I’ve been building up in the past year, I hate to say I’m not ready for an alt season, all my hive is powered up, Leo is powered up, sps is staked, and only a few liquid Rune is left and I wonder if it’ll be enough to take me out of the trenches, this is why I’m soooo praying for a long ass bull run, a year long ballistic moon bull prices,…..

Hive at $5, Leo at $2, SPS at $1, Rune at $100

……Hive at $5 for a whole year type of bull run, a Leo at $1 stable, and SPS breaking past its previous high and just sitting pretty up there. That kind of prolonged bull run could really be the game-changer for many of us who've been holding, building, and believing through the thick and thin of the market.

It’s funny how the crypto world works, really. The emotional rollercoaster, the highs of seeing your portfolio multiply, and the lows of watching it plummet - it’s all part of the game. And let’s be honest, it’s not just a game of numbers and investments; it’s a test of patience, conviction, and sometimes, sheer willpower.

But here’s the thing about alt seasons – they can be wildly unpredictable. The last bull run taught me a valuable lesson about timing and the importance of being prepared. You think you have a strategy until the market throws a curveball, and suddenly, you’re scrambling to adapt. My experience with Hive during the last bull run was a real eye-opener. I learned that it's not just about having the assets but also about having a strategy to leverage them effectively.

The Dream We Share

Now, as we edge closer to what many hope will be the next alt season, I find myself reflecting on my current holdings. Yes, most of my assets are locked in, powered up, or staked. And there’s this tiny voice in my head questioning, “Is it enough? Did I play my cards right this time?” The truth is, there’s no perfect answer. In the world of crypto, sometimes the best you can do is make educated guesses and hope for the best.

Yet, amidst all these uncertainties, there’s a glimmer of hope and excitement. The thought of Hive at $5, Leo at $1, and SPS setting new records brings a smile to my face. It’s the dream we all share, the vision that keeps us going. We’re not just here for quick gains; we’re here because we believe in the potential of these projects. We've seen their growth, their struggles, and their resilience.

So, here’s to hoping for a bull run that’s not just a fleeting moment but a sustained season of growth. A bull run that allows us to reap the rewards of our patience and dedication. A bull run where we don’t just watch our portfolios grow, but also witness the fruition of the projects we believe in. This is what I want this bull run.
