Don't share pictures of your child on social media

If you have recently shared any photos or information on social media, you and your family should be mindful of disclosing information. Although it is very easy to share information through social media, it needs to be done with caution. If someone collects and misuses your information or identifies themselves with your child, it can be very dangerous. Being careful about this will do you and your family a favor.

When sharing pictures of your kids make sure they are fully clothed and not doing anything anti-social or violating any rules. If possible, get the parent's permission first. The family social impact of disclosing such actions or situations may feel good, but be careful to protect your family's and your child's confidential information or other personal information. Make sure your child is protected.

Officers may avoid sharing certain photos based on confusion over photos or information from your child's school or other organizations or may be used to misrepresent your child. Avoid it and keep yourself restrained for the safety of the child.

Be sure to check with your child and get their permission before sharing your child's posts or starring posts on social media. They must ensure their privacy and security.

Overall, your child's safety and good news are important to you. Be careful when using social media and keep yourself private and safe with your posting and sharing.

People should be worried about sharing images of any children and not just their own.

Professional photographers usually get nondisclosure forms for images that contain recognizable faces. It is a real pain, but a necessary protection for all involved.
