ChatGPT in Mercedes-Benz cars.

Medrcedes introduces AI to the MBUX system responsible for car handling and its interaction with passengers. From today (10.06.2023), Mercedes users with MBUX can join the ChatGPT beta program. The company wants to use AI to raise the way voice communicates with the car to a much higher level. Unlike previous solutions based on predefined sets of voice commands and responses, "talking" with the car will be much more natural, smooth and intuitive. This solution is based on the enterprise-grade capabilities of Microsoft's cloud and AI platform, Azure OpenAI Service. You can join the beta program from the "Mercedes me" app or in the car by voice command "Hey Mercedes, I want to join the beta program." About 900,000 cars are eligible for the program, but only in the U.S. and for a limited three-month period of time.
