Mat, regarding passengers in the planes. In 2008 you could still check the RITA records for scheduled take off and actual take off of planes in all airports in the USA. See graphic below. A friend of mine, Joe Bell, discovered this. So two of these planes never took off that day, making those passengers questionable.

There used to be videos from back when you could check the RITA database (now they won't let you go back as far as 2001--it's cut off at 2002, and there's a warning that you must have a good reason for checking the database as well.) We may be ale to find a video of someone checking the database. It will show you what I saw when I checked it in 2008.
