Human Consumption of Food and Calorie Burning
Not eating for a long time can be a very terrible experience. Your body will start to become weak as you feel the need to eat and the hunger increases. There was a time when I was about 8 years old, I didn't know how to use the gas, and there was no food at home. I had to wait for my mum to come so I could eat lunch and so I waited. Before I knew what was going on, I started to feel extremely hungry with pinches in my lower abdomen, then I began to feel weak. It was this weakness that led to me sleeping for the shortest of time. When I woke up, it looked like my eye began to feel strained and I was becoming more weaker. When my mum came, she first gave me water, then fruits before she began to prepare the food.
I had this terrible hunger experience because my body just like any other machine needs something to keep it running. For we humans, we fuel is food and we need a lot of it because we have a lot of parts working together to keep us active and alive from our heart beating, muscles working, and so on.
When we eat, we get energy which is measured in calories and the more work we do, the more calories we are expected to burn and when we eat excess and produce excess calories, they are stored in the body majorly as fat. This means that one way to lose weight is burn more calories than you consume. With this mathematics, we concluded that working out will help us burn lots of calories while reducing excess fat stored in the body but this isn't how it is exactly.
Some studies have shown that exercising can lead to some fat loss but for some other fat stored, its effect is minimal. When we are looking at the science of fat loss, we must agree that it is quite complicated. Research has shown that someone in the gym exercising will burn calories just the same way someone who isn't hitting the gym would but the one performing the exercise would lose more calories but not too much compared t the person who isn't exercising.
Per Kg of body weight, the body already has a fixed amount of calories it intends to burn daily while performing the activities that keeps it alive. People who do exercise to build muscle always emphasize on eating well so as to be able to keep the muscles else they shed away. Also when it comes to exercising to burn fat, the body places trick on us, like wanting to eat more, not performing the exercise at optimum when we are not conscious, sleeping more, and sitting around longer when not exercising.
When we exercise, body composition can change with more muscle building and less fat but then keeping up can always be a problem for people who do not like their routine. Working out help to restore and maintain the internal physical balance that affects out body seriously as it reduce chronic inflammation and stress, improve heart health, ease depression and overall may contribute to living longer.
Because our brains are consuming lots of calories eating up to 20% of the total calorie, we need to eat a lot to meet up to calorie we need daily and this has made up love eating a lot, moreover so many food that we eat has the ability to trigger dopamine which keeps us glue to eating those food continuously thereby leading to excessive eating and increased fat from storage of unused calories.
Food is good for us as it is needed to power our bodily machine but then our social activities and consumption of food has got us to continue to eat more which leads to increased calories in the body that are not being used. At the end, our body still tricks us when we try to get the fat away because there is a fixed amount of calorie the body intends to burn daily and that exercise isn't always planned daily until you hit the gym which the body still finds a way to balance its calorie usage.

Eliminating fat could be really difficult, I envy people who can eat so much without actually becoming physically fat, but this does not mean they do not also need to hit the gym though.
In whatever way, exercising is important.
I think I now understand why it looks like our present age is not living long. It is because of the type of food we are consuming
