How De-worming Might Have Added To Us Having Allergies
Do you have an Allergy? If you do, it isn't a bad bad thing although majority of the people I have met do not have an allergy. It really looks like allergies are things of the rich in this part of the world where I come from because I my area, it is very rare to see someone with asthma unless it is an Ajebo (Rich kid) that came to visit. It then seems like it corroborate the hypothesis that over cleanliness is part of what is making us have allergies in recent times.
This is still an hypothesis that is being debated but if you live in the ghetto (downtown) like where I spent a better part of my life at, you would realize that children who grow up in these areas, have lower rates of allergies and asthma since they are exposed to environmental factors like bacteria, pollen, and animal dander at an early age and they are always around these things till they grow old. This is still a hypothesis so we are not going to dwell much on it.
An Allergy is similar to a door bell ringing and you call the police that there is a robbery or better still you hear a door bell and begin to shoot your gun in response. With that illustration, it simply means that they are actually unharmful, or not meant to be harmful substances that triggers the body into a defense state. You think you are a superman, don't be too fast to overestimate yourself because you can be allergic to anything from pollen, dust, stings from insects, animal fur, latex, your sweat, and even food that you are meant to have so as to stay alive.
Because you are not allergic to a thing now doesn't mean you cannot be tomorrow because with allergic reaction, it is fast, sudden, violent, and can develop at any age. One moment you are enjoying that food you have eaten over 1000 times before, and the next moment you are allergic to it finding yourself in an ambulance.
Some studies say that in the quest to chase worms that were our close neighbors from our body, we created allergies. This studies explain that at some point, we were having a good relationship with worms in the past were they live and reproduce in our body, we lay their eggs into water where they find their way to hatch, then we consume them again. This is to say that with worm medicine that destroys the worm in our body, they cause inflammation, causing our body to release antibodies to work but then they began to grow defense against our immune system.
This led the immune system to grow a higher defense against other foreign bodies that invades but over time, we were able to improve hygiene, and used medicines that were able to fight against this worms but still our immune system is still hyper active leading to the attack on other foreign bodies that invade the body. Since they are hyper active, they begin to attack everything that looks foreign including the shrimps that you ate.
