Science In Today's World - Could This Be The Height Of It?
Life is science, science is life and by that, I mean, science has taken part in everything pertaining to life in various ways both for the good of man and some for bad. It's a hard truth but science has it's advantages and disadvantages, and in regards to that, I think science has done the height of it all or maybe this is just the tip of an iceberg for what's to come.
As much as we appreciate many things that science has made possible and easy for us, there are some things we wish science never had to get to such extent. Thanks to science, we have a much easier life going for us than in the past when there was none.

With the help of science, advanced ways have been discovered to cure diseases and sicknesses unlike in the past when people die of ignorance. Even though we still lose lives to unknown or incurable diseases, science has given more answers to most diseases that we are grateful for.
With the help of science, transportation and security is much improved and these have helped a lot of people have jobs to take care of them, have easy days at work and also get to explore more parts of the world. It's beautiful how any improvement in science provides job opportunities for people.
But sadly, science has gone too far in some ways I can think of now. These improvements aren't the kind of improvements I want to see although there are people pushing these forward and patronising it but it doesn't change the fact that it is wrong no matter how science tries to prove with their man's knowledge.
I mean, we appreciate that they are trying to make living easier but not this way, if you ask me. I feel science should maintain some natural protocols already set before the discoveries of science in the world today but some discoveries today are not following those protocols, not anymore.
As much as it is hard to admit, it is going to be near impossible for things to not get out of hand with the way the human minds work, we are always curious to know if something would work and we give it a try, that's how science came about and have been growing through the ages.
Here are two science innovations in today's world that I think went too far.

Transgender made possible.
If there's one thing I strongly believe in, is that God created everything and said it was good. He made them male and female for all the reasons he gave and we know but somehow today, science has proven that fact wrong by bringing in a way for the males to not be seen as one or the females to not be seen as one. I can't express enough how disgusting I find this development but I'll say it's the height of it.
Maybe a girl behaving or dressing like a guy is tolerable but I don't see why science should pave a way for such a girl to change everything completely and become a guy even with the huge amount set on it to make it possible.
I know there are people who don't see anything wrong in this science practice but I wish science didn't this far and instead focus the efforts in much better things that we need improvements on.
Surrogacy made possible.
I'm not in the best position to add that science went too far with this but aside the positive reasons given for this practice to a few people who engage in it, there are a lot of abuse on this and it goes against God's plan to some extents. I've heard of people who just don't want to go through the hassle of giving birth and they resort to surrogacy for a child.
I believe if science didn't provide a means, such thing wouldn't be an option and they would think more if they really want a child or even want to get married before they take the leap. I can't say I'm totally against this practice but I think science went to far in something of less relevance compared to other things that should be focused on.
If only science would work more on bringing better cure to deadly diseases like the popular one (Cancer) that's taking lives everyday. There should also be more researches to humans close to nature rather than taking them far away from nature.

It's rather very saddening, body modification and genetic modification is now very common, in fact some people are no longer satisfied with the body God gave them, the opted into modifying their bodies 🤦

That’s science for us all. Transgender is one way going too far and I agree on. But for surrogacy I can’t say much. It’s some way of help to others.
Science has really done a lot to humanity. And we appreciate that. But it should know it’s limits

The point on the gender crisis thing is 💯. I agree with everything here. Except for surrogacy.
I think it should be okay that people can choose to mot want to go through childbirth. As we’re both aware, child birth is a painful experience, and it’s human nature to want to avoid pain.
Also, I think it should be okay that a couple doesn't want children. I know that this opinion might be a bit controversial, but I think it should be okay. Where I would have a problem would be if for instance, you want to use other people’s kids like your kids after deciding you don’t want children.

Very true, if things like cancer could be cured, it would definitely be of more value to us and make us appreciate science even more. That is a real problem that needs intervention.

I think that there are far worse things that medical science have done worse than body modifications or transplanting genitals and if such things are not possible, more complicated medical operations cannot be done such as transplanting heart or kidneys and its not as if the people that want this procedure are hurting people. I also think that the world already has to much hate on it to further add things by discriminating on trans people.

Transgender and Surrogacy are indeed the worst pictures of science. Science is helping out in building a progressive mindset by humans but it didn't mean science through technology advancement will change the current human lifestyle in these dangerous phases.
Yeah, if only science didn't go to these extent with their knowledge.
The issue of transgender has become like an everyday day thing in the world now. Even the movies we watch have characters who are gay , transgender and what have you. All thanks to science.

You've raised really good points as regards things that shouldn't be. I'd love to contribute in the aspect of surrogacy, I think it is part of the punishments woman was given for disobeying God so it is something that shouldn't be but then what can we say, it's here but I do believe that it has it's own consequences and those who engage in it should be ready for it.
