Bitmoji, Photo Lab, Twitch & More: Junky Phone Apps

I remember a time I was allowed to go through a friend's phone and what I saw shocked me... There were only four to five apps aside the ones that came with the phone and she's been using the phone for more than two years. Her response to my shock was that, she likes her phone having spaces and no inconveniences.

I get that too many apps could cause inconvenience or lack of space but I never imagined a phone with almost no apps at all. Can't believe there are people practicing minimalism in their phones too. It's actually admirable but I'm the last person to do that on my phone, at least not now.

I know by now, it may seem like I have a lot of apps in my phone but no, I don't but I have just enough to say I'm not practicing minimalism with my phone. I have downloaded apps for the simple act of checking it out briefly and somehow, I don't delete them until any day I don't feel lazy to delete stuffs from my phone. Because of this habit, I've had too many apps on my phone at a time.

That isn't the case now but I still have a good amount of apps in my phone and thanks to this prompt, I've been shown some apps I don't use anymore or hardly make use of. They are apps that I either used a lot at one time and apps I use once in a while now.

I have this habit of thinking I may have use of something just about the time I want to lose or delete it and that has saved these apps over time in my phone. I found more than 5 apps that I don't use anymore but are still in my phone and a few I still use but not as often as I did when I first had them downloaded.

There are a lot of others in my phone that are in good use, so you could imagine my phone to be one filled with apps but weirdly, there are only a few game apps.

Even I am surprised I still have "Photogrid" in my phone, it's been years I used the app and I can't even remember what I used it for anymore. I opened an account with "Twitch" when an opportunity came from an Ocd curator to watch his gaming experience live, it was fun while it lasted but I've not opened the app again since it ended.

My brother made me download the "Jumia" app into my phone when I was curious to buy an item online. I never got to buy the item but my brother did buy a device through it and so it's been there on my phone without use again. I no longer use "Meme generator", "Dstv" and "Bitmoji" apps for the reasons I had them anymore especially the Dstv. But at a time, I used them a lot.

Thanks to Leofinance program in the past, "Zealy" was one of my most use app at one time but it's been there inactive since the program ended. I used "Photoroom" and "PhotoLab" at almost the same time, they helped a great deal in making my contents look good with their photos and editing features.

Would it affect my life to get rid of these apps? Not at all, but will I have them deleted? Only a few of them will be deleted because once again, I feel I'll have need for them with time. I guess my phone has a junk space for some of them to stay so yeah, not deleting all.

Merit, tell me why you still have that twitch app?😂😂 As for me, once my business there was done, I just deleted it. As simple as abc.

Lol that was the plan with the dstv app because of a show I wanted to follow up on but it didn't work and I've left it there since 😂

Lol photogrid has got to be the oldest here 😅

Photogrid app is actually an old app if I'm right. Almost everyone has an app that has been forgotten on the phone. I prefer Jumia site to their mobile app.

I didn't even think Jumia would have a site, I prefer sites to using apps 😅
