A Summary of the Hive Tech Conference - HTC (The New Internet).
The New Internet, a landmark tech conference held on March 9th, 2024, in KNUST Great Hall, was an important turning point that changed attendees' perspectives on web3 and blockchain technology. From beginning to end, the conference was a remarkable and life-changing event, leaving attendees motivated and ready to explore the potential given by blockchain.
Months of diligent planning resulted in a conference with guests from a variety of backgrounds, including Ghanaian residents, students, and technology enthusiasts. The event's goal was to educate and enlighten attendees, and it succeeded with talks that provided vital insights into Web3's disruptive potential.
The attendance of traditional elders and chiefs added a distinct cultural component to the conference, emphasising the necessity of accepting technical progress while preserving Ghanaian traditions. Lecturers, IT experts, and industry executives gave messages that struck a nerve with the audience, inspiring debates and ideas that will certainly define Ghana's technological future.
As a speaker at the event, I am delighted to inform you that the conference drew about 800 people and filled the venue nearly full. This record-breaking turnout reflects Ghana's rising interest in and passion for blockchain technology.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make The New Internet Conference a success. It was a collaborative endeavor that demonstrated our society's ability to embrace constructive change and innovation. I'm particularly glad that people from several age grades and works of life attended the event. The conference has done a good job of preaching the good news about web3 technology to a wide variety of audience.
It was a pretty moment to talk to people about blockchain.
I had the best time attending the hive tech conference and it was even nicer getting to see the actual faces of the wonderful hivians I have come to know through the platform. People need to be more educative in how to operate on the blockchain especially on Hive. Ghanian youth is the one who especially suppose to be interested and super passionate in this technology, we are in very early stage, but surely if more people will get interested, learn, start to build on hive and add value there is a huge chance that many of young people will be really successful and will play big part creating new, exciting timeline in the history.
Yes, we truly have to get people well informed of what the blockchain is about and web3 in its entirety.
