Hola Amigos de Geek Zone ¿Cómo están? Espero que estén súper bien y sean bienvenidos a una nueva publicación hecha por mí. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes lo que hice este fin de semana, para darles un poco de contexto una de las cosas que me prometí hacer durante el mes de agosto era formatear mi PC y limpiar sus componentes por dentro, ya que en estos últimos meses el rendimiento no ha sido el adecuado tanto en los videojuegos como en la creación de contenido.
Algunos programas como Google o el reproductor de música tardaban más de lo normal para abrirse, ni hablar de las aplicaciones como Steam o Epic Games y programas de edición como el Sony vegas o el Bandicam, que tardaban un poco en abrir, algunas de las grabaciones de los videos se pegaban por instantes y eso me ponía super nervioso. Esto se puede notar en varios vídeos que hice, sobre todo los de Halo 2 una serie de vídeos que terminé la semana pasada y que fue el punto final para darle un reseteo a la computadora.
Cuando era pequeño pensaba que los formateos de las computadoras estaban un poco asociados al tiempo expirado del dispositivo y la mayoría de las veces tenía razón jaja, ya que cuando un equipo era formateado es porque se estaba empezando a dañar o algo así, en esos tiempos la tecnología estaba avanzada, pero no tanto como en nuestros días.
A mí siempre me ha impuesto respeto (por no decir nervioso) el hecho de formatear una PC, ya que admitámoslo es fácil, pero, así como es fácil formatear una PC también es fácil estropearla y hacer que no funcione más ya sea tocando la Bios u otros sistemas delicados jaja, por eso prefiero siempre pedirle ayuda a mi primo que ha formateado de todo en la casa, para que me ayudase o me guie el proceso de formateo.
Tardé tres días para tener la PC en optimas condiciones por supuesto, desde el sábado hasta ayer, este proceso inició con la desinstalación de muchos programas (principalmente videojuegos) en una de las particiones de mi disco duro, tengo el disco duro partido en dos para evitar catástrofes, una la uso como almacenamiento y el otro para el Windows claro, me aconsejaron que desinstalará todo lo que estaba en la partición para evitar alguna falla en los archivos de los videojuegos.
Como tenía un montón de juegos instalados, tuve que desinstalar uno por uno, un proceso bastante aburrido si me lo preguntas, luego los demás programas que estaban en el disco C los dejé tal cual, no era necesario desinstalarlos, también fue muy importante copiar y respaldar las partidas guardadas que tengo principalmente de los emuladores, por ejemplo, en mi partida de Gran Turismo 4 tengo un montón de autos en mi garaje y actualmente ya tengo 85% del juego completado, pero para poder continuar tuve que irme a la carpeta de las memorias y copiar la memory card del juego, cosa que casi se me olvida jaja.
Hice lo mismo con los mods de los juegos, con los mundos de Minecraft y con las partidas de emuladores como Nintendo 64 y Gamecube. Bueno ese fue el primer paso, el segundo fue limpiar el interior de la PC, porque claro si la voy a formatear creo que sería mejor matar dos pájaros de un tiro, así que me puse a limpiarla, como pueden ver en las imágenes algunos componentes están llenos de polvo, pero lo que me impresionó es que la tarjeta madre no estaba tan sucia, es decir, tenía un poco de polvo, pero no tanto, lo que más tenía polvo acumulado era la tarjeta gráfica jaja.
Tal vez por eso se me pegaban los juegos, la tuve que pasar una pequeña brocha más de tres veces para asegurarme que estuviera lo más limpio que se pueda, los ventiladores también estaban sucios, pero no tanto, lo que si me costó limpiar fueron las rejillas del procesador, en ese caso tuve que buscar entre las cosas de mi madre una brocha más larga para poder limpiar todo por completo, es difícil porque el ventilador está siempre atravesado, pero siempre se busca la forma.
Posteriormente coloqué un poco de limpia contacto en las RAM y con eso finalizó con la limpia interna del equipo, aquí llegaría lo verdaderamente importante, el formateo, mi primo me prestó su pendrive con el instalador de Windows, para poder instalar Windows nuevamente tenía que presionar la tecla de “Esc” y todas las F para acceder al sistema del formateo, en el primer intento la fallé estrepitosamente jaja.
Al segundo intento mi primo tuvo que intervenir para hacer el proceso bien, seleccionamos la unidad del pendrive que tenía el instalador de Windows, formateamos y ahora esperar, esto en un país normal no pasa nada, pero en Venezuela, concretamente en la zona donde yo vivo es muy probable que el servicio eléctrico deje de funcionar, entonces mientras que Windows 10 esta haciendo sus cosas yo estaba con el corazón en la mano.
Estaba orando para que no ocurriera una catástrofe, no sé que puede llegar a pasar si la energía eléctrica se va en plena instalación de Windows, posiblemente no pase nada, pero tampoco quiero averiguarlo jaja, espero que algún experto me lo diga en los comentarios de la presente publicación.
Gracias a Dios todo salió bien, como pueden ver en la imagen Windows se instaló correctamente y lo último quedaba por hacer era instalar los drivers que faltaban, actualizarlos y posteriormente volver a instalar todos los programas que tenía, otro proceso super largo y aburrido que duré dos días, no tanto en instalarlos si no en cómo hacer que funcionen nuevamente, hasta que finalmente ayer en la mañana pude acomodar la PC más o menos bien jaja.
Este post lo hubiera subido ayer, pero tenía más ganas de jugar que de escribir jaja, ahora puedo grabar vídeos sin que el programa se trabe y puedo instalar otros juegos para crear contenido. En Fin, gente, gracias por tomarse un tiempo para leer esta publicación, quería compartirlo porque pensé que sería algo entretenido, creo que formatear una PC es bueno hacer una vez cada año o máximo 2 años, no sé es mi opinión jaja.

Today I want to share with you what I did this weekend, to give you a little context one of the things I promised myself to do during August was to format my PC and clean its components inside because in recent months the performance has not been adequate in both video games and content creation.
Some programs like Google or the music player took longer than normal to open, not to mention applications like Steam or Epic Games and editing programs like Sony Vegas or Bandicam, which took a while to open, some of the video recordings were stuck for moments and that made me super nervous. This can be noticed in several videos I made, especially those of Halo 2 a series of videos that I finished last week and that was the final point to give the computer a reset.
When I was a kid I thought that computer formatting was a bit associated with the expired time of the device and most of the time I was right haha, since when a computer was formatted it was because it was starting to get damaged or something like that, in those times technology was advanced, but not as much as in our days.
To me it has always imposed me respect (not to say nervous) the fact of formatting a PC, because let's admit it is easy, but, just as it is easy to format a PC is also easy to damage it and make it not work anymore either by touching the Bios or other delicate systems haha, so I always prefer to ask for help to my cousin who has formatted everything in the house, to help me or guide me the formatting process.
It took me three days to have the PC in optimal condition of course, from Saturday until yesterday, this process started with the uninstallation of many programs (mainly video games) in one of the partitions of my hard drive, I have the hard drive split in two to avoid catastrophes, one I use it as storage and the other for Windows of course, I was advised to uninstall everything that was in the partition to avoid any failure in the video game files.
As I had a lot of games installed, I had to uninstall them one by one, a pretty boring process if you ask me, then the other programs that were on disk C I left them as they were, it was not necessary to uninstall them, it was also very important to copy and backup the saved games that I have mainly from emulators, for example, in my Gran Turismo 4 game I have a lot of cars in my garage and currently I have 85% of the game completed, but to continue I had to go to the memories folder and copy the memory card of the game, which I almost forgot haha.
I did the same with the game mods, with the Minecraft worlds, and with the games from emulators like Nintendo 64 and Gamecube. Well, that was the first step, the second was to clean the inside of the PC, because of course if I'm going to format it I think it would be better to kill two birds with one stone, so I started to clean it, as you can see in the pictures some components are full of dust, but what impressed me is that the motherboard was not so dirty, that is, it had a little dust, but not so much, what had more dust accumulated was the graphics card haha.
Maybe that's why the games were sticking to me, I had to pass a small brush more than three times to make sure it was as clean as possible, the fans were also dirty, but not so much, what I had trouble cleaning were the processor grilles, in that case, I had to look among my mother's things a longer brush to clean everything completely, it is difficult because the fan is always through, but always look for a way.
Later I put some contact cleaner in the RAM and that ended with the internal cleaning of the computer, here would come the important, the formatting, my cousin lent me his pendrive with the Windows installer, and to install Windows again I had to press the "Esc" key and all the F's to access the formatting system, in the first attempt I failed miserably haha.
On the second attempt my cousin had to intervene to make the process right, we selected the pendrive drive that had the Windows installer, formatted and now wait, in a normal country nothing happens, but in Venezuela, specifically in the area where I live is very likely that the electrical service will stop working, so while Windows 10 is doing its thing I was with my heart in my hand.
I was praying that a catastrophe would not happen, I do not know what can happen if the power goes out in the middle of installing Windows, possibly nothing happens, but I do not want to find out haha, I hope that some expert will tell me in the comments of this publication.
Thank God everything went well, as you can see in the image Windows was installed correctly and the last thing left to do was to install the missing drivers, update them and then reinstall all the programs I had, another super long and boring process that took me two days, not so much in installing them but in how to make them work again, until finally yesterday morning I was able to accommodate the PC more or less well haha.
I would have uploaded this post yesterday, but I felt more like playing than writing haha, now I can record videos without the program crashing and I can install other games to create content. Anyway people, thanks for taking the time to read this post, I wanted to share it because I thought it would be something entertaining, I think formatting a PC is good to do once every year or maximum 2 years, I don't know it's my opinion haha.

Saludos amigo, fue la mejor opción que pudiste hacer para seguir usando el equipo con tranquilidad y lo bueno es que lo hiciste tú mismo y pudiste ir documentando cada paso y sobre respaldar cada cosa importante. Eso de formatear una pc puede afectar muchísimo y cada vez que me pregunto por eso no me dan una explicación, sin duda no me ha tocado pasar por ese momento. Menos mal que la luz no se fue, ya que si no la fiesta sería más grande.
Saludos para tí también, si necesitaba formatearla porque los programas no estaban funcionando correctamente, se me hacía mucho más complicado grabar gameplays y crear contenido, estuve una semana estará configurando todo bien para que los vídeos me salgan como antes, de hecho si todo sale bien, hoy saco un nuevo vídeo y volveré al ritmo normal.
La limpié por dentro y le actualicé el windows y probé algunos juegos y emuladores y se ven mejor que antes jaja.

ya tocaba, hay que estar pilas con el task manager para ver si estas jalando mas disco del que necesitas, algunas veces por todos los juegos descargados o programas puedes llegar a agarrar un virus por ahi, un saludo hermano
Esa frase "ya tocaba" me la dijo todo mi circulo social en informática jaja, pues si la debía formatear ya que no me dejaba hacer contenido de forma cómoda y aparte algunos programas básicos tampoco funcionaban bien, los virus me soplan el ya sabes qué JAJAJA xd.
