Weekly secret battle mage heavy hitters
What comes to my mind when I saw the weekly battle mage challenge was, I should make a good strategic entry and take my opponent by surprise the last mage challenge did not end well for me as I got wiped by my opponent so this week I had to come up with some real plan.
Below is the battle link for your entertainment!
Battle ruleset
Heavy hitters gives every monster the knock out ability with equal opportunity for all monsters to knock out their opponents melee with sneak ability will come very handy also monsters with opportunity ability can be of good advantage in this battle since it's a knockout ruleset shield and strong tank are also not bad for such ruleset.
Battle detail
Luckily for this battle we are giving 31 mana cap to rightly choose out monster lineup, having such mana cap gives me opportunity to get good tank and select some good pick for the battle I went all in with water element while my opponent chose fire element for this ruleset.
Battle lineup
DIJINN OSHANNUS well I choose this monster as my first lineup because of it ability to void attacks from magic monsters it also has a good health around 10 which can help counter multiple round strike from my opponent monsters.
MERDAALI GUARDIAN we can't underestimate use of small cap monster and the MERDAALI GUARDIAN comes very handy with it's healing ability it adds 3 health level to any frontline tank which also make any battle very interesting knowing your tank always have a backup.
DEEPLURKER here is where heavy hitters ruleset will start playing out DEEPLURKER is an opportunity monster that looks for vulnerable monster with low health and strike them first if my opponent comes up with any healing ability monster then it can be easily eliminated with few strikes.
FEASTING SEAWEED another opportunity monster combining two opportunity monster gives me advantage of quickly decapitating any weak monster from my opponent line up this monster can strike from any position.
PELACOR BANDIT a sneak attacker that attacks monster on an opponent last line has a good attack speed with little impact although it can be very dangerous.
CRUEL SETHROPOD a common chaos legion monster with no special abilities but can only be very good when placed on the last line to protect against sneak attackers.
Battle strategy
My strategy did work out this time, I presume my opponent might come up with fire element which has some good sneak attackers so I used CRUEL SETHROPOD as my backline shield it can take two to three round attack from sneak monster while my magic and opportunity monsters take it up with getting rid of all the formidable monsters, with my two opportunity monster I was quite sure they will go a long way to deliver on the other hand my frontline monster with it void abilities can equal handle attacks from my opponent frontline tank as well as take shield itself from subsequent magic attackers my health replacement monster will be busy healing my frontline tank while my sneak monster will be attacking from behind and reducing health mana cost of my opponent last line monster. My strategy did workout well putting CRUEL SETHROPOD at the last line did payoff well because without it shield support my opponent sneak attackers would have eliminated my opportunity monster easily.
Battle arena
First round my opponent did not expect I would come up with such lineup his frontline tank has a low mana cost health which make it easier for my frontline magic monster to eliminate my opponent frontline monsters since my magic monster attack affected only health my opponent frontline tank shield was of no use.
Second round in the second round my opponent tank was eliminated leaving the next melee monster vulnerable to my magic attack while my opportunity monster where busy getting rid of the weak monster.
Third round only three monsters where left for my opponent which shows he will definitely be losing the battle with all my monsters still attacking there is no where to run.
The battle ended in five rounds leaving all my frontline and backline monster to victory it was a fantastic battle but my opponent did not manage to eliminate any of my monster on the line up.
