Social media challenge my splinterland journey

Every one at some point has a story to tell, and this story start with a leap of faith a journey that seem to begin from a day becomes a journey of a week from weeks it becomes years that's a quick wrap of my splinterland journey in my quest of seeking a blockchain based gaming platform that is incentivise to reward users for their time.

I've seen users back in steemit blockchain playing splinterland game but never cared to pay much attention to the blockchain game, the truth is I've never been a fan of game all my life I'm the book worm kinda follow that prefers to stick around their book rather than spend time on screen, I also prefer outdoor games which I find quite fun.

Skip some boring years of not playing screen games, it took me months to finally discover splinterland game when I moved to hive blockchain on hive blockchain I became more curious about splinterland game since blockchain games back then like axis infinity were the talk of the day for most crypto users, in 2021 I took the bold step to sign up on splinterland game, I was also contemplating on buying a spell book for some months couldn't decide if buying a spell book and playing splinterland will be worth my time back then behold here I am after some years of experience in this amazing gaming platform I'm still playing daily.

Discovery of Splinterlands

From my intro post I've discovered this amazing blockchain gaming platform from steem blockchain although I never participated in the gaming activity back then I was only watching from behind how users where playing the game strategically, if I could turn back the hands of time I would have wish I sign up back then and played early during the steem blockchain time.

So basically I discovered splinterland when they were still on steemit blockchain.

Duration of Participation

Precisely I sign up on splinterland back in January 2021 but spent roughly some years without playing the game reason were I was a bit skeptic of what to do on this game for a beginner like me that had no guide I had to Idea how to even start playing the game but for some reasons i decided to sign up and left the account inactive for years.

Although I did sign up back in 2021 I would say since I wasn't active playing until in early 2023 where I pick more interest in playing the game and it has been one of my best choice I made to start being very active on the game.

I would say I've been an additional season player in splinterland game as I'm still enjoying and exploring the full potential this game is unleashing for blockchain enthusiasts.

Time Spent in Splinterlands

Playing splinterland requires time, that said one basically need to plan out and make time for playing the game because of my work schedule which is kinda time demanding I prefer playing splinterland in the morning before going out and at night before bed.

To play daily I had to balance out my time for playing although any ample time I've got I use the opportunity to play some battle.

Taking about time consumption it does since I basically sacrifice some time to play the game during the day it is time consuming but also it is worth the time since playing gives one more chance to play the game for fun and rewards.

Accomplishments

Splinterland is very competitive and as well requires lot of playing skill and strategy so far I would say I've reached the silver ii reaching this level requires winning different battle at the same time topping the leaderboard for now can the a future accomplishment I'm looking forward to achieving nevertheless I will still celebrate my small wins while playing the game.

Above is my playing log were I've made my longest streak of 11 win a total of 2,861 battle out of 6,275 roughly I've loss over 3,000 battle over my time of playing splinterland I've collected seven card in form of in game cards which can be used to compete against other opponent in the battle arena.

Looking forward to achieving and accomplishing more goals.

Upcoming Goals

One of my biggest aspirations for splinterland is to have more card collection sometimes playing strategy are good but combining those strategies with good card collection make one unstoppable in the game my goal is to keep buying more cool in game card collection so I can always boost my winning streak.

Being a top leaderboard player during a tournament and opening more chest rewards are some of my future goals stacking and staking splinterland token (SPS) for APY rewards is also one of my goals I've been staking as much SPS I can but will love to add more staked so as to increase my reward.

Advice for Beginners

First step is to successfully sign up and the next big step is to keep playing, if I have been playing splinterland from the day I sign up I would have accomplished more goals today but I did delay for years contemplating if to play or not.

My advice for those who just sign up is to love the game its always seem hard at the beginning but as you continue to play those losses can become wins overall love what you do splinterland is an enjoyable game with lot of fun we learn from every loss and make adjustments not to make the same mistake twice.
