Secret battle mage little league

Brace yourself summoners for the battle ground isn't for the weak even the brave and swift in battle barely make it alive in the battlefield, your skill and strategy might likely bale you out when facing monster with different abilities in this week we are faced with a different ruleset that don't require monster with high mana cost which means one need to be careful when putting up there players especially those with low health, this week unlike other weeks am out of luck as my opponent took me by surprise and gave me whopping defeat.

This week the battle ruleset is simple and requires one to be very selective with their monster lineup given to a ruleset to choose monster with four mana cost and below could be a difficult task especially for those who are more comfortable with using high mana cost monster to be on safe side including either health or shield repair monster will be a good idea in such ruleset.

Although it's a low mana cost battle ruleset I was given 31 mana cost cap for this battle this means I and my opponent will have opportunity to comfortable select good lineup without considering the mana cost for this battle, I decided to come up with life element monster this time while my opponent did came up with earth element, I did anticipate my opponent move so I placed a health and shield repair monster as well as an opportunity monster to face my opponent.

Battle lineup

XENITH MONK my frontline tank monster with four mana cost cap is the XENITH MONK it has a six health cap which is a good health range I could get for this battle it also has good speed but a low attack slashing ability it can only attack when it's in close range with an opponent monster therefore being in the frontline as a tank will make it come handy while the battle is on.

VENARI CRYSTALSMITH it also have four mana cost a range attacker with ability to heal frontline tank it supportive health ability will be used to keep my tank monster longer in the battle it can also attack monster on an opponent frontline.

STITCH LEECH it has two mana cost a melee attack monster with good slash power but low attacking speed it's ability to attack monster from behind can be very unpredictable and formidable for an opponent especially when there are magic attackers on an opponent lineup.

CELESTIAL HARPY a two mana cost monster which can evade melee attack monster and none flying monsters it is also an opportunity monster that looks for weakest monster on an opponent lineup and attack from any position.

VULGUINE another two mana cost monster that could increase it health on every move this monster comes very handy in this kind of battle as it can easily accumulate lots of health before reaching frontline although it doesn't attack expect it's on frontline.

SCAVO HIRELING I choose this monster for it's shield ability to protect frontline monster it doesn't have any attacking ability but could stand against melee monster especially when an opponent comes up with more melee attackers.

Battle strategy

Splinterland can be very unpredictable since I can't see my opponent lineup before battle I only have best chance to predict what they will likely come up with I think that's the intriguing part about this game one need to always work on their strategy.

My strategy for this ruleset was to come up with good health tanks since it's a low cost mana that could also attack and support my tank with a healing repair monster as well as an additional shield monsters to add additional protection, my sneak and opportunity monsters will take charge of the battle by eliminating my opponent subsequent lineup since my frontline is well fortified I should have nothing to worry about.

Did my strategy worked?

Well this week my opponent caught me off guard and came up with more formidable monsters his strategy beat mine, his sneak attacker monsters did beat my surprise as well as his additional three magic attack monster that rendered my frontline monster weak in the battle.

The battle ended in the fourth round it was a flawless victory for my opponent his magic attackers were very formidable along side his sneak monster with an additional snipe monster.

Round one in the first round my shield repair monster was quietly eliminated by my opponent sneak monster this gave my opponent upper hand against me.

Round two at the end of round two my frontline tank was out of the battle leaving my range healer that couldn't attack when in frontline.

Round three both my sneak and opportunity monsters were out of the battle frontline leaving me completely defenceless.

Round four I was able to eliminate my opponent frontline tank at this point it was too late because the winner has already been decided.
