Secret battle mage keep your distance
Melee attackers are some of my favourite picks when choosing my battle card, some sneak and opportunity monsters with melee abilities are outstanding when battling in the arena but this week I will have to use my strategy when picking my monster choice especially when there is high mana cost to choose from besides having good card pick I need to make sure I have good frontline tanks and healing repair monster to stay longer in the battle, let's delve into the battle arena and see what will be the outcome of the battle sure right this week I was quite luck to annihilate my opponent I beat my opponent by surprise I'm sure he did not quite expect my strategy which did play out.

Battle ruleset
Keep your distance implies monsters and summoners with melee attack will not be used in this battle that been said your back line are completely safe in this type of battle your main focus should be on protecting your frontline tank against your opponents attack additional shield repair and healers will come very handy in this kind of ruleset utilizing void monster will also help counter magic attackers in this ruleset.
Battle detail
Today I wasn't luck enough to be given high mana cost for this battle ruleset nevertheless with a 17 mana cap I could still come up with some good lineup that will allow me to compete against my opponent for this battle I use water element while my opponent as well choose to come up with water element that clash of titans I guess low mana cost also means there won't be much line up with two or there monster we are set to start the battle.
Battle lineup
DJINN OSHANNUS since for this battle there are high chance of my opponent coming up with magic attackers DJINN OSHANNUS will be very formidable for this kind of battle with it void ability to counter magic attack and it's high health with damage speed it won't be bad to have this legendary monster on the frontline as it will help me stay much longer in the battle as it's getting intense.
ICE PIXIE with it low mana cost I choose this monster on the second place because it has ability to evade monsters with melee or range attack with it four speed it can easily inflict damage on frontline monster it plus one shield is an additional bonus to counter strike from range attack when in frontline.
MERDAALI GUARDIAN healing repair can't be underestimated in this battle so with MERDAALI GUARDIAN and its ability to add plus three health to my frontline monster I will be able to stay a bit longer and hard to my opponent to easily eliminate since there is not sneak attackers I can place it at backline.
Battle strategy
My battle strategy was quite simple in this this ruleset use void magic monster a repair monster and an additional magic monster with high speed attack to counter my opponent the healing repair monster will be on the backline to support my tank against my opponent attack while my tank and second line monster are busy inflicting damage on my opponent my healing ability monster will help support my tank I predict my opponent will come up with either more magic or range attack monsters so I place the void monster and healing monster to make the battle interesting.
Battle arena
It was a long battle against my opponent did last ten rounds lol that's kinda to say my opponent came prepared with his frontline tank that has 6 health and a healing repair monster I knew the battle will be a long ride with lots of magic counter strikes along.
Round 1,2,3 After round 3 I was able to eliminate my opponent frontline monsters since his repair monster was adding a plus 3 health to my opponent frontline tank it had to take numerous attack before his frontline tank went down.
Round 4,5 with is frontline tank down it was some how easy for me to get rid of the rest of my opponent lineup monster his second on the line had just 3 health with 2 damage from my frontline and second line monster it was easy to get rid of my opponent second lineup monster.
Round 6,7,8 My opponent came up with a scavenging monster in his lineup which has gained more health from inflicting damage on my monster so it had to take multiple strikes to take him out
Final round with another range attack monster left to be the last man standing there was no choice but for me to emerge victorious in the battle.
