Stampede, this week's battle ruleset allows unit monster with trampling abilities to retrigger their attacks on other monsters as long as they keep trampling on an opponent monster, to be on a safer side in the battle arena coming up with trampling unit monster will be a good strategy although this ruleset allow the use of any monster which means one need to careful come up with their lineup against an opponent to avoid complete annihilation in few rounds into the battle arena other unit monsters opportunity, sneak, magic and range can be used in this ruleset which makes it somewhat difficult to predict an opponent next move.

For this battle ruleset 27 mana cost cap was given for each player to come up with their batting lineup monster this allow me to come up with my favourite water element monster while my opponent came up with fire element my go strategy for this ruleset was using DIEMONSHARK monster because of it trampling ability to attack other monsters with it trampling ability.

DIEMONSHARK my first lineup tanks with it sturdy shield of plus six health max of seven it slashing attacking power of two and speed of four makes this monster very formidable in the battle arena it has the trampling ability which always triggers when it kills an opponent monster although it can only attack from tanks position except on a different ruleset like sneak or opportunity it's at disadvantage if an opponent comes up with all magic monsters as it shield will be of no use since it a stampede ruleset chance of opponent coming up with magic monsters are quite low.

DJINN OSHANNUS there is need to always improvise in splinterland using DJINN OSHANNUS as my second lineup monster is to have another strong tank should incase my first tank got eliminated in few rounds with this legendary magic attacking monster as my second tank I can stand the odds of the battle arena it has void ability which reduces magic attack damage by 50% it health of plus ten also makes it good for tanks position as it can attack from any position.

MERDAALI GUARDIAN another good supportive monster from water element it can be used to aid my frontline tank with it healing ability it gives any frontline monster plus three health making it possible for a tank to stay up longer in the arena the place of healing monster can't be overlooked in any battle arena as they are very supportive.

PELACOR BANDIT devising more strategies in a battle is very important with this monster having sneak ability to attack from any position it targets opponent lineup from backline and strike making an opponent defense from behind weak it has good speed with an average striking slash power to decapitate and opponent lineup from behind.

HARDY STONEFISH this unit monster will be used as an offensive defense if my opponent comes up with sneak or opportunity monster HARDY STONEFISH will take their first few strikes before any other monster on my lineup.

My strategy

My strategy was to use DIEMONSHARK as my tank because of its trampling ability to attack another lineup monster if its first target is eliminated it high shield and attacking power is another good option for using it as a tank which will be used to easily decapitate my opponent tanks followed by another good magic attacking monster if my opponent should come up with more magic attacking monsters then my DIEMONSHARK will be easily eliminated so I backed up my frontline with a void magic attacking monster to support my melee attacking tank since we can't completely predict our opponent lineup my healing repair monster will be there to support my tank with it healing ability while my sneak monster strike from behind.

My strategy was good turns out my opponent did not come up with magic attackers which will buy more time for my DIEMONSHARK to strike freely without worrying about it health stat depreciating rapidly it was a flawless victory for me.

My opponent came up with some good fire element monster lineup with multiple abilities although their strategy was void as it couldn't stand my lineup strategy the battle lasted six rounds with my sneak monster doing what's it knows best attacking from behind it was able to get rid two of my opponent monsters I was a bit worried about the shield repair monster thanks to to sneak monster that got the job done while my other monsters were busy attacking my opponent frontline.

Round 1 first round my opponent with their shatter shot ability on each unit had their strike on my monsters with shattered shot targeting my healing repair monster, my sneak monster on its first attack got rid of my opponent backline monster which was a good sign of winning.

Round 2 my healing repair monster was eliminated at round two giving more vulnerable room for my tank here again my sneak monster got rid of my opponent repair shield monster which makes it a bit even on both sides.

Round 3 no monster was eliminated at this round but it seems my opponent with their two range monsters and a melee monster as tank might not be making it out of the battle.

Screenshot_20231021-151111_Gallery.jpg

Round 4 seems my sneak monster did most of the elimination from behind another monster down as my sneak monster keeps attacking from behind no tank have been eliminated from the battle arena yet.

Screenshot_20231021-151252_Gallery.jpg

Round 5 finally my opponent tank is out of the battle arena as my tank tramping ability got triggered it went with it's second attack on my opponent second line monster that's quite a smooth move from DIEMONSHARK.

Round 6 the battle has been decided my opponent is left with only a range attacking monster which cannot attack from frontline line.
