Let's talk about splinterland energy level social media challenge

In this week's social media challenge I want to talk about energy level, its important for anyone whose newly joining splinterland; a blockchain based gaming platform to understand some important basic features while playing the game, last week while trying to get my weekly Mage battle challenge quest done Going the distance I was literally carried away by the spirit of the game I played for several minutes before I was given a prior notice error on my dashboard which reads error not enough energy to battle I had to stop for a moment to check my energy level which has been drained to zero due to lengthy time of playing none stop. Well for me that moment I knew I should just give the game a break go do my regular work and come back maybe the next 24hr to continue playing, for some players who can't resist playing at that particular time they will just choose to purchase more energy using their in game dark crystal energy (DEC) or credit and continue playing.

Why energy level are important

One of the reasons I find energy level feature intriguing is, it can be used to minimize the use of bot playing time, while humans can easily get fatigued/bored while playing or have other schedule to do, bots one the other hand could play none stop, to eliminate this high playing traffic from bot having a limited rank battle play using a max of 50 energy level is an interesting idea, although these bot users can choose to always buy more energy when they are out of play, another reason for this is to give players choice of playing (rest) once their energy level deplete one can easily chose to go about doing their other daily tasks while waiting for the energy level to automatically refill.

On the other hand this feature can be used to increase DEC token price value, every purchased energy level with DEC token or Credit automatically burns DEC supply and reduce it circulation well for DEC holders this is another good reason why holding and buying more DEC will be profitable in near future.

What are energy level system

In splinterland, every ranked splinterlander is allocated a maximum of 50 energy levels. These energy levels serve as a resource to partake in ranked battles, where players challenge each other in thrilling duels. To engage in a ranked battle, one energy level is expended from the player's pool. This clever mechanism ensures that players engage in battles strategically, as they must manage their energy levels effectively.

The energy levels replenish over time, with one energy level regenerating every hour. This regeneration mechanism empowers players to engage in battles at a sustainable pace, preventing burnout and encouraging strategic gameplay. Novice players need not to worry about energy level as it's not required for battle entry at such level.

### How to buy energy level

Buying energy level on splinterland requires some simple steps, here are step to follow if you want to buy or replenish your energy level.

Step one

From your splinterland homepage using web browser, click the plus + sign next to energy bar below the battle button.

Step two

Once you click on the plus sign it will take you to the energy page showing your current energy level, adjust the bar to choose how many energy you want to buy.

Step three

Choose from the drop down box what currency you would prefer to use for buying energy.

Step four

Click buy to confirm your transaction using your required private key once done the specified purchased energy will automatically reflect on your page dashboard.
