Subfamily Taeniapterinae

This is a long-legged fly that I managed to find in front of my house, exactly on a plant. This particular fly has a very different body shape compared to other flies in general, and this difference is what makes it so unique. This fly has an elongated and slightly slender body, while its legs are very long, which is in accordance with its name, long-legged fly. It is also not very wild, so it is quite easy to approach, especially when it is mating.
We can easily find this particular insect during the rainy season. At that time, this fly will perch on the leaves, and they also do not like to hide like most other insects. Because of its small size, I had difficulty photographing it using only a mobile phone camera, so in order to get the best results, I had to photograph it with the help of a macro lens, and the results were very satisfying.

At that time, I managed to photograph this particular fly while it was perched on a mango leaf, and I also managed to photograph it from various different angles.
