A Simple Science Hack into Fixing of Shoes

Those Days growing up as a kid when we were small during our primary school we might never know but we do a-lot of crazy experiment as a kid, sometimes those experiments are the creation of science in our life and i will be listening one of those experiments.

When growing up as a kid we usually wonder how come is the creation of gum ever came into existence such as applied gum to our shoes and sandals i was tune in to these idea in order to save money and use the money to buy food rather than going to the shoe maker to repair the shoes.

There is this particular day i wanted to repair my particular scandal which got open in two, i saw a shoe maker and asked him how did you guys come about these gum of a thing which you applied to our shoe is only statement was foam been used to make the gum i was now wondering foam how?

I decided to make some experiment myself which i did i went home i notice we threw away a lot of foam i went there and took as many as i want i brought it and did some little experiment before that i notice the gum usually smelled of fuel i decided to try it out i will now identify the step taken to do the Gum.

• foam(dried foam)
• fuel
• plastic rubber bottle

Steps Taken

• open the robber bottle and pour a lot of fuel into it.(but note depending on how thick the gum should be)

• start tearing the foam into it the plastic rubber bottle and put as many as you can. (Until the fuel can no longer dissolve it)

• once done keep it for three days in a heated place to merge together.

Those are just the simple steps taken to make a shoe maker gum you might be wondering what type of foam, it can be foam in your bed, foam in your pillow the idea is it must be dried and not wet so it can give us the actual result we wanted that is it should be thick to be able to create a strong and lasting gum to hold your shoes together.

I tried it out and eventually achieve it and i said to myself the simple trick is what they use to make gum and use to gum our scandals and shoes ever since then i don’t take my shoes to shoemaker again instead i create my own gum myself.
