Stalkerware

I just watched a very interesting and informative Ted talk about stalkerware. We gladly carry the hardware needed for stalkerware software, load it with all of our passwords and information telling ourselves it is secure because we put a pass code on it so we think it can't be accessed.
Yet since the invention of the internet nothing is private. Everything can and likely will be found at some point by someone.
Think those pictures you took of yourself to entice the person you love are only yours? Think again.
We back up our phones and tell ourselves they are safe but in actuality they are our biggest security risk there is.
It is why I miss the 90s. Life was more carefree and private. So many of us live with the delusion of having privacy when nobody really does. Our phone cameras and what we do can be accessed anytime by numerous amounts of people.
Which is why 2 factor security is best. I know this may be a bit late to be mentioning as most people already do it, however there are many times we become so busy with our children and lives that we don't have time to think of those types of things until we read something about it or hear something about it.
Definitely made me think. Glad we have our keys made physical.
My boyfriend has been making sure we are secured and I am very grateful for it.
