As young adults and women, our body system goes through lots of changes. Our menstrual cycle which occurs on a monthly basis stands strong to balance these hormones and body changes.Due to these, predicting this cycle can be difficult for so many young women.

Understanding this helps us calculate our cycle correctly. There are so many apps on the play store which help us to keep track of when our red flower day would be. Although some predictions might not come as predicted which can get us thinking of what could be the reason.

While we may have an answer to it sometimes, in some cases it is difficult to really explain why because of lack of understanding how many reasons that can hinder it coming as expected. Menstrual cycle comes with lots of complexities most times.

It is always good to understand the factors that could influence the timing of menstruation. Some of the common factors are blood shortage, stress, change in what we consume, exercise and hormonal changes can hinder one's menstrual cycle.

Instead of getting worried when it looks like it's not coming after days it is expected to, things like balancing our stress with self care, trying to practice relaxation and look into our diet and engage in exercises that help balance out hormones would help. Menstrual cycle is more like a world filled with the unknown, so listening to our body system is important.

To understand one's cycle length, you count from the day of your first flow till the last day before your next period. It varies so doing it consecutively will help you know your average cycle length

Each month, our body system goes through different phases. According to goggle.com The menstrual cycle has four phases: menstruation, the follicular phase, ovulation and the luteal phase
For a young adult to know when her next flow would arrive, understanding her cycle length and how many days her flow ends is important, a normal flow is from 1-3 to 1-7 days; these include the spotting.

With fair knowledge of your cycle length, predicting when your next period will drop is easy.

After the last day, to know when the next would be, you need to count from the next day after the last drop of your flow, with full understanding of your cycle length, predicting when the next flow would be easier. With the help of apps, predicting this would be easier and it helps you know how true or false the prediction is as it sometimes not accurate.
