Hola amigos de Geek Zone! Tenia este post pendiente por acá, hace algún tiempo les había contado sobre mi experiencia con los productos de la marca Cricut, específicamente el plotter de Corte Explore Air 2 y Easy Press 2 los cuales usamos en el emprendimiento que tengo con mi hermano de camisetas y artículos personalizados. Los clientes siempre nos preguntaban si sublimábamos tazas, termos y lamentablemente decíamos que no, porque no teníamos la plancha para este tipo de artículos.

Hello friends of Geek Zone! I had this post pending here, some time ago I had told you about my experience with Cricut brand products, specifically the Explore Air 2 and Easy Press 2 cutting plotter which we use in the venture I have with my brother of t-shirts and custom items. Customers always asked us if we sublimated mugs, thermoses and unfortunately we said no, because we did not have the iron for this type of items.

Ya teníamos pensado adquirir una en Amazon, pero por aumento en los impuestos de importación y suspensiones en los envíos marítimos en mi país (Venezuela) no habíamos podido comprarla. Hasta que un día, mi hermano vio una buena oferta acá en el país, me envío fotos y ese mismo día compramos, la inversión fue de 180$, nueva y con garantía.

We had already thought about buying one on Amazon, but due to increased import taxes and suspensions in shipping in my country (Venezuela) we had not been able to buy it. Until one day, my brother saw a good offer here in the country, he sent me pictures and that same day we bought it, the investment was 180$, new and with warranty.

En cuanto la compramos nos pusimos manos a la obra. Es fácil de usar y ocupa poco espacio.

Clave de alimentación o corriente
Su uso es bastante sencillo, obligatoriamente debes de activarla, conectando el cable USB y el cable de alimentación a la toma de corriente.
Se abre la página de Cricut, inicias sesión con tu usuario y clave de Cricut . Luego, seleccionas prensa de calor y buscas Cricut mug press y en unos minutos esta lista para usar.
La cricut mug press alcanza una temperatura máxima de 190Cº, ideal para la sublimación por lo que no es necesario ajustar la temperatura.

Its use is quite simple, you must activate it by connecting the USB cable and the power cable to the power outlet.

Es ideal para tazas o vasos de 11 a 16 onzas.
Tiene un tamaño de 21.4 cm x 10.8 x 13.8 cm
Tiene función de apagado automático, luego de 13 minutos sin usarla.
Posee su botón de encendido, con una luz naranja que al estar encendida en unos 3 a 5 minutos cambiara a verde indicando con un beep que la maquina esta lista para usar.
Para su uso deberás imprimir con tintas y hojas de sublimación el diseño deseado y encender la maquina y esperar que se caliente ella emite un sonido y cambia verde el botón de encendido.
Ajusta el diseño a la taza y asegura con cinta térmica.
Introducimos el mug o vaso con el diseño deseado cerramos la pestaña superior derecha y comenzara el tiempo para sublimar y se van encendiendo las 6 luces de la parte superior. Una vez esté listo la maquina emitirá un sonido. Levantamos la pestaña y retiramos con cuidado el mug o vaso.

It is ideal for cups or glasses from 11 to 16 ounces.

Adjust the design to the mug and secure with heat tape.
Insert the mug or cup with the desired design, close the top right tab and start the time to sublimate and the 6 lights on the top will turn on. Once it is ready the machine will emit a sound. Lift the tab and carefully remove the mug or cup.

En cuanto, a los materiales que puedes usar Cricut recomienda utilizar de la misma marca, como: Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets, y marcadores de sublimación, también recomiendan las tazas de la marca Cricut. Pero puedes utilizar cualquier taza de sublimación que sea Polycoat.

As for the materials you can use, Cricut recommends using the same brand, such as: Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets, and sublimation markers, they also recommend Cricut brand mugs. But you can use any sublimation mug that is Polycoat.

Esta prensa es ideal para quienes van empezando a realizar personalizaciones; existen otras más grandes y que les pueden ajustar herramientas para sublimar platos y otros artículos, pero son más costosas y ocupan bastante espacio, por los momentos estamos contentos con nuestra compra y estamos recuperando la inversión más rápido de lo que esperábamos.

Mi recomendación es que, si tienen algún emprendimiento es no se detengan, si ven que hay demanda de algún producto que ustedes no realicen, traten de invertir, busquen ofertas en otras ciudades, quizás comprar un equipo usado lo importante es que busquen como suplir esa necesidad, para que puedan obtener invertir en el equipo que deseen.

My recommendation is that, if you have an enterprise is not to stop, if you see that there is demand for a product that you do not make, try to invest, look for deals in other cities, perhaps buy a used equipment, the important thing is to look for how to meet that need, so you can get invest in the equipment you want.
