Living Without A Reset Button.
Huhm, talking about time travel. I don't know, but then wouldn't I feel free to keep making mistakes? At least I can always travel back in time to fix them. Let's go deep.
All those times I had made one mistake or the other, all those times I had said hurtful words, all those times I didn't speak up when I ought to, and all. All those things came flashing back now, and if time travel were possible, believe me, I wouldn't hesitate to go back and redo these things. Imagine how wonderful it would be to have and be able to wield such power. You do away with heartbreaks, embarrassment, and all, and you wouldn't even have any regrets.
But then again, would life really be much better? Is being able to fix everything the best thing? I know how painful mistakes, heartbreaks, hurtful words, and all are, but we can't deny that they teach us things we can never learn any other way. You won't just offend your friend and go back to redo things, and if nothing happens, it's another thing on its own to realize you've done wrong, have a rethink, and go ahead to apologize; you would even learn from it, but going the time travel way, how would we grow?
Also, there are some questions bothering my mind. Who decides which mistakes to fix? Do you think I won't tamper with another person's life while trying to fix mine? What if certain things that look good to erase for me were meant to help them grow and learn? Also, won't we at the end confuse our lives, because when I decide to go back in time and erase a certain memory or redo something, what if the other person goes back in time to leave it as it was? You redo it, and he/she goes back to leave it the way it was before. If time travel were to be possible, then I doubt if anyone would even bother about the consequences of their actions.
I must admit, that idea is a tempting one. There are certain things we all wish we could go back to do; it doesn't have to be something bad. It might be to go back in time to apologize to someone, it might be to take something or an opportunity more seriously, it might be to open up to someone about how much you loved them, and more. One way or the other, there's a part of our lives we all wish we could go back in time to rewrite. But I think it's just best as they are, like this. Mistakes, heartbreaks, hurtful words and all are painful, but we can't deny they help us grow into who we are meant to be.
We don't need a time travel machine or ability; let us face our mistakes and learn from them. Every choice of ours, either wrong or right, makes us human, and it helps shape us. If we could redo and undo things, then sincerely we would never appreciate the value of getting/doing things right.
Time travel is not the best for us. Life is designed to be full of mistakes, ups and downs, and everything. We just have to embrace it as it is. How would we feel proud of overcoming the hard times if it was easy? In short, those erased mistakes won't make life meaningful at all.
Going back in time is not possible, but we can keep going forward with a good, wise, and kind heart. The best time travel we need at a time like this is that which learns from the past to make a better future.

For sure there is going to be a downside to time traveling and I am sure they won't be nice. Like you said mistake is part of life, without it, certain things won't be learned.
Instead of traveling back in time, it's best to learn from our mistakes and work towards realizing the best version of ourselves and a better tomorrow
Exactly, we need to keep building the best version of ourselves for a better tomorrow.
You summarized it all✌️.
Thanks a lot for stopping by.
