I upgrade my InfluxDB 1.8 instance to version 2.7 on docker container running on Windows 64 bit.

Unfortunately I was unable to update directly on the Raspberry PI 4 because I currently installed a 32-bit system and InfluxDB 2.x is only compatible with 64-bit architectures. So, to be able to test the upgrade from InfluxDB 1.8 to InfluxDB 2.7 I moved the docker container to my 64-bit Windows PC.

This video does not presume to be a tutorial, but simply a step by step of what has been done to achieve the goal. I hope that it will help someone.

Purtroppo non ho potuto effettuare l'aggiornamento direttamente sul Raspberry PI 4 perchè al momento ho installato un sistema a 32 bit e InfluxDB 2.x è compatibile solo con architetture a 64 bit. Per poter testare l'aggiornamento da InfluxDB 1.8 a InfluxDB 2.7 ho quindi spostato il container docker sul mio PC Windows a 64 bit.

Questo video non ha la presunzione di essere un tutorial, ma semplicemente uno step by step di quanto fatto per raggiungere l'obiettivo. La speranza è che possa essere d'aiuto a qualcuno.
