SIMILARITIES OF EARLY LANGUAGE LEARNING BETWEEN BATS AND HUMAN INFANTS

Greetings dear readers of this prestigious platform, this research seeks to generate comparisons between learning processes at the level of language that takes place between newborn babies of humans and bats species of little type of born.

For this we will rely on a set of data from the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Brazil, where it is expressed that the species of bats of the Saccopteryx bilineata type have a correlation in language learning, similar to that of humans at early ages, since both species communicate at early ages through babbling as initial stages in the acquisition of language.

Methodologically, the inference corresponds to long periods of time of observation and evaluation of the species in countries such as Panama and Costa Rica, where in the opinion of Ahana Fernandez, it is routine to analyze the species in their nests and the way they communicate with each other, the same due to the complexity of language are adapted to that of human babies in early stages.

Thus, the author suggests a marked importance in social behavior, which allows to generate a feedback that promotes the vocal development of this species and that is comparable to those advanced at the level of human babies in their first weeks of birth. Both species exhibit the same general characteristics, among which stand out, the replication of syllables and babbling through repetitive rhythms and regularly, not to mention the growth process based on rest and feeding, a process similar to our species.

Therefore, it is to be expected that babbling allows them to acquire much of the language repertoire that they will use throughout their existence, since the offspring learn through vocal imitation, so it allows to evaluate at what time the crossing of information is occurring and therefore, learning is being promoted, within variables such as the social environment and the environment where it develops.

Undoubtedly they are great coincidence which allows us to understand the biodiversity of species on the planet, so this type of work assumes great importance in understanding the different patterns we have to socialize and to develop a level that allows us to subsist in this competitive planet.
