Hello my brothers and sisters in the #Homesteading community, it's great to be back today and greet all of you, I hope you and your beloved family are always healthy and always happy :)

This morning I came to one of the plantations which is quite simple, The procedure for farming on a sober land has been successfully carried out by my uncle by farming, There are several plants that can meet the needs of daily life that grow here, as I see one of them is sweet potatoes that grow here with green leaves piled up and look very neat.

In addition to sweet potatoes here there is also one of the tumbuban for spices, namely turmeric, this time I want to share two types of plants that I got in my uncle's garden.

My uncle said sweet potatoes are cultivated plants that are often found in community plantations that have nutrients and benefits that are quite good for health, besides that sweet potato leaves are also often used by my uncle as vegetables

I was also told by my uncle about the benefits of sweet potatoes and recognizing the characteristics of sweet potatoes, namely the characteristics of sweet potatoes, of course, do not have stems or are like wood, and as for the benefits of sweet potatoes such as be...

  • can prevent blood pressure
  • Benefits for eye health
  • Can overcome diabetes
  • As well as lower cholesterol and improved brain performance

After that I also get another type of plant that has many benefits, namely this plant is Turmeric which is famous as a spice that is often used as a cooking ingredient or is often used as a food coloring with a yellow color that is characteristic of turmeric, people use turmeric in food because it does not have a bad effect on health, by consuming turmeric there are also good benefits for humans.
Such as curing cancer and can be used for anti-toxins and are often processed as traditional herbs.

Excellent work and I can see you might end up with your own land and farm here soon.

In fact that's what we are doing! Saving up for land for our homestead!

Look into black earth. Terra prata the Amazon supersonic that's man made.

It's easy to do. Just collect the brush and turn it into charcoal. Lots of ways to do that. Then mix it in with the soil up to 30% adding fishbones and food scraps is also helpful.

Beautiful work! Get back to your food source!

@ganjafarmer Thank you, I hope I can have a large land to be able to grow crops and share my farming knowledge with everyone.

Well hopefully we can figure out some way for the homesteading group to help support land ownership goals!

It'd be really cool!

I'm nearly at a quarter of the way to my goal and I just have to relax and be patient. My posts have absolutely supported this growing goal!

I'm really blessed. And I think it'll be a really worthwhile investment to help out the homesteading group to be able to invest in homesteading content and the community!

Being close to your food source is really important!
