Viral Tiktok Headphone | Lenovo Thinkplus TH10 Review

Diving into the Trend

I normally go against the trend but this time, I opt to follow and check out the headphone trends that were viral a few months ago. This is also the first time I discovered the brand known as Thinkplus by Lenovo. I would have never expected lenovo would create its own audio line up. Yet, there are also knock-off brands out there who sell similar headphones designs. Afterall, most of them come from Shenzhen or nearby areas where the tech industry is thriving. To be fair, it is quite tricky when there are cheaper headphones with the same model. The only thing that differs between them is the brand which affects its pricing too. In the end, it comes down to preference, do you buy things for its utility or do you buy it just because you want to.

Replacement For My Previous Broken Headphone

Since I left my headphone in Thailand because it was too broken, I haven’t gotten any replacement. The last one I had was a brand from Jete that I tried because they offered competitive prices and looked stylish. The headphone lasted for a year before it gave up since I slept on it and the handle was broken. From there, I just bought a cheap replacement from 7-eleven and got a TWS robot.

Initially, I am one of those people who wants to own Sony headphones yet my budget is quite mid-ranged and I needed that to focus and accompany me when I work in an extremely noisy environment. One person who told me about this Lenovo product is my cousin. Then, I saw this headphone I got from FYP youtube shorts and the aesthetic contents on it. I was like, is it really that aesthetic and good as people say? So here’s my verdict on this viral thinkplus headphone.

A Mid-Range Dilemma

Thinkplus TH10 headphones are viral on youtube and tiktok for being aesthetic. It is also noted as a cheap option for those with limited budgets who are looking for quality audio with mid-ranged budget.

As you can see above, mine is beige colored but in their page, they also sell black, white, and pink. If you purchase the headphones from unofficial sites, they come with cute stickers. In some shops they also sell the pouch and in the official store, the pouch is only available for the beige color ones. That's why I ended up purchasing that color since it comes with the pouch.

The pouch is also my reason for getting it. I find it extremely convenient and safe compared to the headphones I used to have that come without the pouch. The pouch can also fit cables and other accessories even unrelated to the headphone.

Aesthetic Appeal

Other than the pouch, if you look at the design, it’s pretty aesthetic with its matte pastel color look. It’s also well padded and marketed as sweat friendly and waterproof. I tried using it for a workout and it was pretty comfortable for an hour run and was completely fine when it got a bit wet around the ear pads. My cousin also said that it’s pretty convenient to run around with it and she tested it on.

Features

20240122_130127.jpg

The headphone has an on and off button that is extremely helpful to save the battery if you’re not using it. After testing the device, it has around 8 hours constant play and a day if you only use it sparsely. I think this is really the highlight of this headphone when compared to others that don't have that. The handle is also adjustable and it's pretty sturdy. Everything about this headphone is designed ergonomically and convenient to use for longer hours as well.

This headphone uses type C cable that even if you're losing the cable, it's using the standard type cables available in the market. They have two volume buttons as well as as skipping buttons. The pads is also comfortable and well-padded as well.

Stylish for everyday use

As you can see below this is the whole case looks like. It fits into a totebag as well as can be attached to your bag with some type of keychain. It keeps the headphone secure while you're traveling. For me, it helps because I tend to break the headphone way often because they are not secure after use. The pouch comes in different color too such as black but I only got this one which is okay. From the official store I didn't get the stickers but from the other store, my cousin got some stickers with it. Eitherway, I am pretty content with the purchase and it's totally recommended despite its virality.

My husband is a Sony fan, then I got the wireless bluetooth headphone from Lenovo Thinkplus for our android phones. I bought it for him as a gift. At first, he questioned my purchases. Haha! But he enjoyed using it when we travel as it was small. I think Lenovo Thinkplus is a good brand with a budget. Of course, Sony is superior. hehe.

haha any Sony fan would've questioned the purchase. I have sony speaker and it's hard to go back. I still want their headphone but it costs an arm and leg xD if somebody buys it for me, great. If not, I am most likely thinking 4 times before getting them. I am honestly also surprised with the quality they're offering. It's mid-ranged and pretty reliable too.

here was the solution to save some money. don't use TikTok and voila 😆

very very recently I got myself these earplugs like the Apple thingies but from a different brand, Fresh & Rebel. Never heard of them. But love the thingies. First time without a cable. Pretty decent things. And paid for them with some loyalty points that were about to expire, which makes them more or less free ear extensions. Finally, I can decrease the amount of podcasts in my backlog. For music, I use a pretty old Sennheiser. Following apart, but I can still get replacement parts but seem to not order those.

Anyways... Wish you all the fun and pleasure with your new ear warmers... oopsy ... ear speakers aka headphones 🙃

It's already warm here hahaha

personally, I don't use tiktok but people around me & oh, they get to shorts and instagram as well. That's where I get my "trends" reference. It's super interesting how tiktok here is now also a marketplace. You can literally shop from there.

Sennheiser is definitely solid. I mean their IE 100 PRO is a dream earphone when it comes in ear and neckband ones but they're like almost $150 ish haha. Expensive things is hit and miss for me and my clumsiness is often the cause. I'd get expensive things but break them faster than I would with cheaper stuff xD

owwww ... I'll have a look, perhaps a de-clumsiness class, course, or school exists. when so, may I offer you this?

Please say no, not because I don't like to give such gift, but simply because clumsiness is a great trait. Perhaps not for you, I don't know, but for your friends. Always something to talk and perhaps even laugh about... ofc always positively laughing with you, not at you.

I didn't know that these headphones were now a trend, I bought them a few years ago when I discovered them at SHEIN, that's where I ordered them and more because they were Lenovo branded. Now that I see, that little thing that comes with it to store the cables, mine doesn't come with it, I guess they add that to the new headphones, hahaha.

Oh! you have the same one. Today they added free pouch and cables to it. How much was it when you first get it? It's pretty popular here because a lot of people make videos about it and become viral. I didn't even know they came out a while back all I know is that they're are still less than a year ish.

8 hours constant play shows that these headphones has really good battery timing. Moreover, this color is very unique and attractive. Well, I don't have any kind of headphones and just have handsfree.
Interestingly, I have a hoodie of this color and I love that hoodie.

Hoodie with that color must've been good. Beige is sort of the trend color lately.

Hi, I have headphones very similar to those you bought, yellow and everything, they are not branded and were not expensive. They sound good, they just have that detail and I can't put them on my head, only if I'm lying down. Just for that detail I think they are a good replacement.

Do you buy things for their usefulness or do you buy them just because you want to?

In answer, for their usefulness, without a doubt.
