Unboxing Infinix XPad 20 First Impressions & Real Talk

Released back in May 2025, Infinix Xpad is one of the affordable tablets that is compatible with Microsoft office environments. If you are looking for a tablet for work, entertainment, and light browsing, this Infinix Xpad 20 is suitable for your office needs.

I got this tab recently and it was purchased through my office. If I had to choose, I certainly wouldn't choose this one. I much prefer name brands like Samsung or iPad. But hey, if it's free, why not?

Infinix was never on my list. I barely like anything other than Samsung. But I found that these days, people are no longer into brands. They typically just buy product with higher RAM and something that has good specifications at a cheaper price. I wouldn't really say cheaper, these days infinix, honor and even xiaomi are upping their quality.

A while back, I got xiaomi redmi pad. I didn't quite like it nor find any feature that I like. The camera was too poor and it wasn't that good for most things. Considering it was released back in 2023, buying that in 2025 is a bit dated. So, I learned from that lesson to never buy tablets just because I think I need it. This time around though, since I got it for free, I was thankful for that.

This Infinix Xpad 20 has similar 11-inch screen but with double camera as well as flash for the front-camera. I have tested it for google meet and conference calls, it looks pretty clear and was stable to host an online class. Since these days I also host online class, rather than relying on my laptop, my tablet works just as fine and is stable enough to accommodate needs for my students.

While it doesn’t come with additional keyboards like Huawei or Honor Pad, you can use universal keyboard to use it like a laptop/simple office work. There are some security features that you might like such as safe folder as well as private browsing if you’re using your pad with your kids or other people. Since I mainly use it for work, that feature is a great addition to have. As for the RAM, this one has 8GB RAM extendable to 16GB with 256 GB memory. You can also use additional storage up to 1 TB. For those who have plenty of things to store, this is a win point considering the price.

If you’re also looking for a table that can be put a sim card, this is the tablet for you. They have a sim card feature supporting 4G networks as well as wifi. So,this is great for people who wants to have a simcard for the tablet.

In the past, having a tablet wasn't something I needed. Nowadays with my business and work being expanded, I have the need to support my daily activities and work purposes. I don't think this one fits for mobile gaming that people like to do these days. In fact, it is also best to be used as still pictures for the menu at the restaurants or something similar. I am sure the still pictures on restaurants nowadays also uses some variations of these tablets.

All in all, while I am pretty skeptical, I have not explored all of its features fully. But considering how I got this one, I am pretty happy about it. Occasional upgrade once in a while wouldn't really hurt and I will let you guys know if I made my way to customize this tablet.
