Rizz Earphones : A Decent and Affordable Option from 7/11 Review

When my electronics were soaked in water overnight, one of the most impacted electronics were my mouse and my earphones. Not to mention, my headphone was also crushed at some point and it’s now taped with duct tape and I haven’t used it in a while. So, now with two unfunctional devices, I find it hard to concentrate and do things outside. I was still in Laos when that happened and that took me a while before I got the replacement.

Then when I was in Thailand, I remember that 7/11 has everything. I mean, they literally have everything and safe to say just go to Thailand with nothing but money and you’d be fine if you just stay with the basics.

So last night, I went to 7/11 and finally got the replacement for my earphones. They have quite a few selections but I only picked the most reasonable one. I reckon, getting the cheapest won’t be a good idea since I want it to last a week or more. The cheapest at the store was 99 Baht or equal to 2.93 and the other prices started from $3.82 to $5 which were still reasonable considering they’re convenience store earphones. I won’t bet on the quality but I’d be happy if they last more than a week.

I picked the one that was $3.82 and the brand is called Rizz. Their product has the earpods type and though it’s not my most favorite type, I was okay with that.

It’s also 3.5mm which is just enough to fit my laptop or phone. They have black and white color but since I want to match the color with my outfit so that they don’t look too apparent, white was the one I picked. They blend well with my jacket.

What surprised me was that it came with a decent clip. Back home, I wouldn’t get such a clip and comfortable ear hook. But this brand has it and all these make it fit really well and I can only hope it lasts at least for a week.

When I tested it, the audio quality was quite decent and with even the highest volume within range 40% to 50% it’s a bit noise canceling. Above 70%, you can only hear the music/whatever you’re listening to. It’s perfect whenever I want to do something outside as it just means I can avoid listening to conversations that I want to participate in or just some random information getting into my brain.

The volume and up button works well and it’s nothing that I really bothered about or cared about. Whenever I look for audio devices, it’s always about how I can block out the world and I was surprised that this cheap device works. It’s very basic but works!

If you’re in Thailand and have your earphones broken, just go to 7/11 and find Rizz. They’re cheap and works. Once you go back to your home country, you can get something nicer or brands of your preference.

I bought one recently in Lazada. The brand is Robot and I think they're Indonesian or Malaysian. It cost me about 1 USD. And it sounds great for its cheap price. I forgot to turn down the volume on my desktop and was startled by how loud it was. It has noise cancelling too.

they're actually a Chinese company that also makes Vivan. They have big market in Indonesia. So maybe that's why it looks like they're Indonesia but it's actually Chinese under WOOK company. They're pretty durable tbh. I have their headphone, headsets too and they work. They last quite long as well.

What makes your items get soaked? Were you get soaked in the rain? At least your laptop wasn't included..
But I hope that kind of earphone would last longer 😊.

haha no, my water bottle was opened inside my bag with laptop and everything. So, my laptop was included as well but finger crossed nothing happened to it. I would just be happy if they last more than a week or just a week.

Not bad ha if it's functioning so well. Thr only problem on this kind of earphones whatever the brand is, they tend to just stop functioning even though it is still okay, a minute ago. But well, o hope that one last longer though.

It's hard to find cheap headphones these days. I mean, there are actually cheap headphones but they are very poor quality and they break within a month. You made a good choice 💯

my previous one was with me for almost a year and it was reasonably priced. Just unfortunate that they're broken due that water accident. I hope this one would last a couple of weeks before I can get another one :D

all I know is that even if the earphone gets wet, just let it dry and it's ok.. thats what I am doing when I accidentaly included the earphone in my laundry..the earphone is still ok.. all working..

I already let it dry too and wasn't working :( so maybe I didn't give it enough time.
