Rexus vs. Fantech: Which Brand Stands the Test of Time?

Let’s normalize reviewing something back after its use to help people make more informed choices and not waste their money. It is to also help with overconsumption so we know that what we’re getting is really worth the buck. There are obvious brands out there that perhaps don’t need this kind of review but with countless brands out there especially when it comes to tech, it’s best to be wary but also not being closed off with our choices.

I find that sometimes reviewers out there just review it at a face value, including myself during the unboxing just because it looks like a shiny new toy and offers the latest feature but what about after it? a month, two months and even a year. For example, my laptop has been with me for a year now and it’s from a brand that I never use, which is MSI. I am fairly skeptical about it but after a year, apparently it has no issue. I am going to review it soon as well since I never did. Anyhow, today this is about my last month purchase and recent tech products that came into my eyes , Rexus Office Series Keyboard with retro style,Gamepad from Rexus and a mouse from Fantech.

I have to say that this is my very first time using their products and I was skeptical of everything in their product. However, they are the products that most gamers use in the county and seemingly work. I ended up getting one or two products of each brand. I can’t really say this comparison is quite fair since it’s not apple to apple and I tried their different products.

For example, as you can see after a month's use, this rexus keyboard has lost its stickers and unless you’re memorizing the keyboard, it will make it extremely difficult to type. There’s a factor of this is just a faulty product but also, this is convincing me not to get their products when it comes to keyboard. I think I’ll have to do an apple to apple comparison soon since this my rexus is an office combo, it can be reviewed side by side with the GO Mochi 65 Set keyboard from Fantech. They are under the same price range, so stay tuned for that review in the future.

While I think it’s nice to compare apples to apples, meaning products with the same type, there are just some things that certain brands do better. I personally have 2 products from Rexus and one from Fantech. In terms of pricing, Fantech has always been slightly more expensive than Rexus which is quiet on the lower end and more affordable. However, this even got me convinced that somehow, those price differences certainly make up for the durability that each product has. The same product with similar style would have cost more from Fantech than Rexus.

I’ve always been a fan of upcoming tech brands that need to be explored. These two brands have piqued my curiosity the most because it’s readily available and the price range is also mid to high with quality that can be contested when compared side to side with a lot of products that are also currently emerging. I am definitely not going to compare them to products that are on different tier like Logitech and Razer products. In another class, these two are different when comparing Rexus and Fantech side by side. Anyway, stay tuned for more!
